Finally found the perfect pod!
I think I've tried just about every brand of pod and have finally found some worth a repeat purchase. They have good flavor, not bitter, brewing quality seems consistent, and they are compostable. Couldn't ask for anything else

Great flavor, look, and smell.
I really appreciate SMILE Coffee Werks for their compostable pods. The Nespresso pods werk great in my Instant Pod coffee maker unlike their Keurig K-Cups. La Crema is a good cup of coffee. The classic esspresso is even better when you want a dark roast.

Good idea but needs work
Love that they are compostable. Didn’t love the coffee unfortunately.

Amazon not shipping correctly
Great products, great coffee. The problem is the way amazon ships the box. They put it into a plastic bag, so it gets crushed during transit. Please fix amazon because this product rocks!

Not compatible with my Nespresso. No refunds!
Unfortunately this did not fit my Nespresso and no refund. I wasted $23, because the product information stated Nespresso compatible

Love the Compostable Pods; Not Very Much Flavor
The first thing I will mention is that I like the compostable pods. It feels good do not be adding on to the waste in the world and it feels good to do our part to help cut down on all the plastics. So far, I have tried 3 pods and each one of them have worked perfectly in my espresso machine. I have had no issues with them getting jammed or clogged in my machine and the espresso flows freely the way it's so the way it's supposed to.This being said, I, unfortunately, am not a very big fan of how this espresso tastes. The thing is that it doesn't have much flavor to it. The product description picture shows the strength level as being just a little stronger than a medium roast but this tastes like more of a light roast to me. Not my favorite. The other issue I have is that it barely has any crema at the top. It has a slight casing but not very frothy. If you like light roasts you may like this but if prefer more flavorful espresso, this might not do it for you.

very nice
I like a nice bold flavored coffee. I want the flavor to be strong, so much so that in some cases I wouldn't even need to add anything to it. I'm not a black coffee drinker by any means, as I like to add a touch of French vanilla Creamer to it. That usually sweetens it up a tad clearly, and I find works extremely well with bold flavored coffees. I don't think I'd categorize this coffee as having a strong flavor. It is very pleasantly flavored, and makes a very tasty cup, but bold it's perhaps not one way I would describe it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy drinking my coffee in the mornings very much, and for those people who maybe like a smidge of a milder flavor, this coffee will suit you very nicely. I'm very much impressed and satisfied by the compostable pods. I think that's a great idea. It kind of beggars belief, that not all pods would be compostable. That being said, keeping coffee grounds for fertilizer is actually a great thing for plants. So if you're diligent enough to cut the pods open and take the coffee grounds out afterwards, you could have a nice little fertilizer to sprinkle over your plants. I should mention, sprinkle it over the soil not the top of the plants. All in all, as far as coffee goes, I liked it just fine, but it's not the most flavorful cup according to my taste buds. I wouldn't be disappointed with a cup of it, that's for sure, but I'd love to try a different blend.

Not Bad
I like to have as many things compostable as possible. Normal Nespresso pods are particularly bad because shipping them back to recycle likely does more harm to the environment than good and they contain coffee granules that are great for the soil. These pods fix that. Unfortunately, the coffee is just okay. Some pods taste a bit burnt and others can lack punch. As a fan of milder roasts, I had higher hopes. Still, these might be worth trying on a good sale.
