Opens and closes well, secures at varying heights well, ground spike useless.
I loved that it is lightweight and easy to carry but the purpose is for steady photos and videos where cameras or phone doesn't have anti shake and it's windy or cold out. The groundspike would help steady it but unfortunately it does go into the ground. I tried it locally and a neighbour tried helping me but he too couldn't get it into the ground so I had to hold it or lean it against a tree and hold it from falling.
