Lifesaver for Plum Pudding
A bit expensive but that’s okay. As butchers no longer seem to provide suet for cooking, this shelf stable suet is a lifesaver! I make our family’s Plum Pudding during the holidays, and having this on hand eliminates the panic I used to always have trying to get suet!

Took care of all my suet-related needs
I live in Arkansas, a state in which you can literally get rendered hog lard just by turning a tap in every kitchen. Anything from a live feral hog to a soused pig's head can be purchased virtually anywhere from a liquor store to a bodega. But suet? I might as well ask for a piece of the True Cross! How to make a proper plum pudding without the glorious unguent that is suet? Amazon to the rescue, and Christmas is saved.

Glad to be able to purchase, but overpriced
I needed this for making authentic mincemeat. Unfortunately, you can't get this in stores in the US. In the UK, this is a relatively cheap product, but it is marked up a lot here. I guess it is the price I have to pay for authenticity, but I wish it wasn't quite so expensive.

Super easy way to make traditional foods that require suet (like old-fashioned Plum Pudding). Suet gives a special richness to these dishes that is different from other fats.

Perfect for a multiple choice of dishes
I use Atora Suet all the time for making dumplings for my casseroles and stews because it enhances the taste of the dish. Good value for money, especially with the cold weather soon to be with us.
