Review: I bought this out of pure curiosity; it's advertised as having a 320w TDP, so I wanted to see how this held up against my NH-D15S(Noctua doesn't provide any kind of TDP rating for their coolers). Overclocked 7820X at 4.5ghz, core voltage at 1.18v, VCCIN at 2.0v, cache at 3.0, cache voltage at 0.91v, and a GTX 1080Ti in a Cooler Master H500P Mesh... With ambient temps ~24C, it thermal throttles at 91C - the max temp I set in bios - in Cinebench R20 and Asus Realbench; the Noctua doesn't. I tried several times, even using NT-H2 and the 2x IPPC 3000s I currently use on my D15S heatsink - no dice. Either the NH-D15S's TDP is greater than 320w, or there's a flaw with the Silver Arrow's design - perhaps the heat pipes are too close(?) - that reduces it's thermal tolerance, or perhaps both? I mean, my overclocked 7820X doesn't quite dump as much heat as an overclocked 9900K at 5.0ghz, which is somewhere around 250w of heat... 7/6/2020 Update: I have to take back what I said about this cooler underperforming the NH-D15S. The reason for my previous results were due to user error. I did not install the heatsink and it's fans properly. The instruction manual is quite lacking, making it rather easy to screw up the install. This cooler can outperform the NH-D15S with high TDP cpus - if it's installed correctly - albeit it does so with a little more noise, but that doesn't bother me; for the more silent focused users, there's the Le Grand Macho RT. I give this a 4/5 now: the performance is definitely there. The reason it doesn't get a 5, is because the mounting system isn't as user-friendly compared to Noctua, at least. It'll perform worse if it isn't installed correctly, so I strongly recommend installing this cooler outside of the chassis, to make sure it's done right. Get this kind of cooler for a high TDP cpu, like the 9900K, 10700K, 10900K, and Intel's X series. It's wasted on anything else.
Review: The best dual-tower air cooler with superb heat dissipation, thanks to 8 heat-pipes and two 140 mm PWM fans. Offers excellent performance, though it can be noisy under load.
