ADORE BEAU
I was so excited to finally get my hands on Beau. You know that feeling before reading a book you so wanted? When you so wanting to be already finished with the book but at the same time you wanna to savor every page slowly. Thats how I felt. And now after finished, I can't imagine where I should to start. So much to tell and talk about. But unable to talk much so not to reveal anything and spoil any surprises. That would be good or bad. ones.It was really emotional and heartbreaking. On more than one reason. Related with more that one charachter's or even a couple. I should expected that from River, because she finds a new ways to drag us in her journeys. Like her blending tension and humor here perfectly. I always enjoy, when there is serious topic/situation is talking about and author mix a little levity to lighten the darkness. Letting to know that even in the darkest hour you still can find a light and freedom from the nightmare.Infatuation from the first page grabbed me. My heart was so heavy, I wanted to cry, I wanted to rant, I was... I was just so pissed. Why? I was just let in a glimpse of Mackenzie's life before Knights Rebels, Beau appeared. Those snippets of the past...Mackenzie...I really didn't know how to react. Or how to feel about her. I couldn't help but catch myself a little to judging her on some occasions. "Why the hell she's letting him treat her like that?", "Why she stayed?", "Why she believed in those worthless words?", "Why she didn't fought back more?". Those "Why's" didn't leave my mind. It's seems so easy to make a choice in this kind of situation. One hit and he's out of your life forever. No way would you stay for more of this treatment. No way would you believe in him ever again. After all you're fighting for your happiness. For yourself. So the choice of actions is obvious. Right? And if this is right, does that means Mackenzie is weak? When I'm introduced to a present Mackenzie one page after another, all I could see is strenght. Yes, she's jumpy. Yes, she reacts to higher intonation in words or sudden movements towards her. But does that mean that she's broken? No, she isn't. It just her body and mind was conditioned to react that way after all this time being in abusive life. It was in some way a mind tries to protect himself. And it would take some time to get ride some of that reaction. I don't think Mackenzie completely ever lose this. Because once cracked you can't say it's new. But despite being fractured, that doesn't mean that you aren't whole. She's still has a spark. She's still living. And she still can live her dream. She just needs to find her real self. And she will, because she is a fighter. Those things and more I wanted to say to Beau. Why? Because the man can be so stubborn sometimes. He was attracted to Mackenzie. Well, attraction doesn't do justice to the way he felt about her. But he fought his feelings. Fought because of her past. Thinking that she could never give him, what he needs. And also because of her past he couldn't give her what she needs and deserves. If you read previous books, you had meet him. And you know that he isn't this laid back guy. He's quite, reserved. Hiding his feelings from even his brothers. But there is so much more to him. Much more sides to him. Side like him helping those abused women to start a new life. It's amazing and admiring side of Beau. So, you would think he is such a perfect match for Mackenzie. He can to understand her more than anyone. But... Beau has a kinky side. Which is such a big obstacle for them to be together. Or so Beau thinks. Or pretends to believe it. Because I don't believe it's the real reason. Or at least not the only one. Probably the primary reason why he fought his feelings and tried to ignore them was that he was scared and confused. Because he never felt like that about anyone before. He never imagined himself in relationship. He never imagined himself in love. Which could hurt you so much if after you let someone in and then you're losing them. And here Mackenzie, who makes him crazy never leaving his mind. He has no clue how to proceed with this at all.But despite all the fighting Beau is doing, I couldn't help but fall for him. And I fell hard. He's considerate and caring. Bossy and sexy. Like I said he has a lot of sides to himself. And I loved them all. I even loved his overbearing behavior, even though sometimes that side annoyed me so much. I still plain adore Beau.Halfway the story was more or less about how both, Mackenzie and Beau trying to fight theirs demons, so they could finally be together. But no matter how much they fought theirs attraction for each other, the connection they felt from the first moment they meet, got stronger and stronger with each day. Until they couldn't pretend that they are only friends anymore. And through the all the story, I couldn't help but be suspicious of Mackenzie and for the reasons she appeared on Knights Rebels clubhouse door. She said her ex find her, so she had to run. But.. Well, I believe in that, but I got a gut feeling she was hiding something. And that something is, that she killed her ex. But if so, why should she hide it? KR would sure understand, that she was just protecting herself. And she had no other way. Unless... Well, later I got a few theories, speculating and pondering. I wouldn't share them. I will just leave you on your toes and contemplate on your own.And then the time for the true come. I was right and I was wrong on some of my theories. What happened... I felt relief and also annoyance. Annoyance with Mackenzie. Okay, maybe partly I can understand why she felt that way. What she had to do... But still. She had no choice. She needed to do this to get ride of her past, of her monster and finally live without a fear. She shouldn't be tormented by her choice. She didn't exactly chosen this. And for sure she shouldn't compare herself with her ex. There is nothing similar between them at all. So, yeah. I was irked and bothered by her reaction a little. And here clue in Beau. After true came out, his reaction... Well, thats only makes you to love him more. The man is just priceless. And maybe I just should stop here and stop talking about him. Because obviously I could for another page or so. LOLI will just say that with Mackenzie's revelation danger didn't stop. If possible risk only become bigger. There is no time to rest for KR, because they has another target to take care of.

FIVE 'LAUGHING, SMILING AND DREAMING AGAIN' STARS!
River Savage has done it again with the fifth installment in her incredible Knights Rebels MC series. Infatuation is Beau and Mackenzie's story. Due to the violent nature of Mackenzie's past, this is one of the darkest books in the series. But, ever the masterful storyteller, River Savage gives her readers an amazing journey of pain and fear turning to hope and redemption all wrapped up in a gorgeous love story."...you want what they have and she has the power to be the one to give it to you."Beau is hard man, but underneath his intimidating exterior lies a man driven by his personal demons to help those unable to help themselves. Mackenzie was one of those people. He's complicated, he's bossy, he's controlling. But he is also a fiercely loyal, uber-protective, all-alpha-male packaged up as a bearded, tatted, badass biker."I am free. I have escaped."Mackenzie escaped her husband and the violence of her marriage once, only to be tracked obsessively by this evil, vicious man. When he finds her, she runs back to the one person who made her feel safe - Beau. She is broken, she is scared, she is confused but she is also surprisingly attracted to Beau, and deep down she knows she wants the promises in his eyes. With Beau's kindness, patience and care and the support of the Knights Rebels, Mackenzie fights through her fears and her emotions reaching for the happiness, the love and the family she desperately wants."She's no longer this jumpy, scared woman in fear of her life. She doesn't let the past hold her back. She's stronger, braver."Both Mackenzie and Beau have a lot to overcome emotionally before they can truly come together. But they put in the work, and it was that part of the story - both of them individually facing and then fighting through the tragedies and drama of their personal histories - that was the best part of the story for me. They both knew if they could just wade through murky waters of the past, they could get to the smooth sailing of the future. These were two determined people, both seeing everything they ever wanted in the other and willing to put in the difficult and painful work to offer the other the best versions of themselves."I close my eyes and pretend he didn't just threaten me with a beautiful life. A life I didn't think I'd have. A life I want as much as he does."River has a way of telling a story that just grabs the reader and drags them right into the thick of the story. The world melts away, and there you are - a fly on the wall inside the story as it unfolds around you. I love that about her books. She is, without hesitation, an author whose releases I eagerly anticipate and set aside uninterrupted time so that I can devour the book.I've been a fan of River Savage's since her release of Incandescent. I love her writing style, the way she tells her characters' stories and the voice she gives them. I adore the characters she's created here and their individual stories. I've been all in on this series since the beginning, and Infatuation didn't disappoint. It was all that I was hoping it would be and then some. Complex where it needed to be and simple when it was called for, this book offered it all: a sexy badass biker hero (that beard!), a strong, brave heroine. An interesting, exciting plot. Super sexy and steamy, while still managing to be gentle and loving. All of that coupled with the superb handling of a sensitive, difficult topic, and this story was an absolute winner.Another phenomenal addition to a fantastic series, and it's back to stalking her author page on Facebook for news of the next Knights Rebels release, which I'm praying to every incarnation of a higher power is Brooks and Kelly's story. Thank you, River, for another amazing love story!

Freaking Loved It !!!!!
From the minute I finished Incandescent ( book one in the series), I have been a River Savage devotee and the opportunity to read each and every book has been one that I have treasured, the guys she brings to life are simply staggering, I loved Nix and still do, I was stunned speechless by Sy and blown away by Jesse’s but this time it is Beau that gets the Savage treatment and I think that River may just have surpassed all my expectations, picking a favourite one of these guys would be like selecting your favourite child, impossible. They all bring their own brand of broody, tortured sexy to the table but they also have a history that is more engaging and directional that you could ever imagine.Beau past is steeped in tragedy, especially the situation surrounding his sister. The guilt he feels while it may be unwarranted to us from the outside, it is his driving force. His motivation for doing what he does.In the last book it was clear that Beau was becoming more involved in the underground movement of helping vulnerable women to escape from abusive partners. A trafficking program that uses a network of safe houses to allow women and their children the opportunity to escape and start again. But when he assisted Mackenzie Moore to escape her lunatic husband, there was a connection made that despite the fact they would never see each other again, he couldn’t help but feel.Beau was so committed to the cause that, that alone should have made it clear that this man does nothing lightly. If he goes into something, he give it everything he has , so when a bruised Mackenzie turns up at the clubhouse, his fate is sealed because giving her up again is something that while he knows he should, he also knows that he hasn’t a hope of ever being able to do. The bond between them is too intense.Mackenzie’s husband has found her, after 18 months hiding out, she tracked her down and she barely managed to get away with her life, well that is what she tells Beau on arrival at the club and Beau knows that letting her stay at the club is not an easy ask, the guys at the club will be brought into a potentially volatile situation, especially when her father in law, the mayor gets wind of the fact that she is back in town. But turning her away is not an option, Beau has claimed her and she is under the protection of the club, whether they like it or not. But Beau and Mackenzie have a slow and steady relationship, both of them know that they harbour feelings but neither of them are willing to act up them, both have secrets.Beau has delectations that he knows a woman like Mackenzie will struggle to come to terms with, let alone embrace and he sure ain’t going to set off her nightmares just because he likes complete submission! But there is only so much dithering around that they can stomach because no matter what, the desire between the two of them was always going to win.But can Mackenzie be the woman he needs, this woman is made of much more than even Beau has given her credit for and when her full story comes to light, he is in for a rude awakening. They were so fabulous together, theirs really was a meeting of both body and soul. I loved the commitment they had to each other, the fact that they settled in to a pseudo domestic routine, made me think that they were going to make it, little did I know that their happiness was not yet guaranteed.I loved the fact that the rest of the club are prominent in this story, I know that Nix and Beau have a past that has them tighter than most and that other guys were great but it was the ladies that came into their own in this story, Kadence especially has grown into the perfect Pres’s Old Lady. The story was glorious in as much as it was an uncovering of emotions, an awakening of what it is like to find the one person that you know you are meant to be with, no matter the circumstances. Beau and Mackenzie may have had an unconventional beginning but they had a bond that couldn’t be broken. Love tied them together, it saw in each other a kindred spirit, a reason to not only fight the pain of the past but to fight for the future they deserved.River Savage gave me a story that I both wanted and needed to read, it gave me more of the MC and showed me how the character’s that I have come to care about have moved on and grown, how their lives have changed and in the case of Brooks and Kelly, she dealt a sucker punch blow that means if I could, I would be holding my breath until the next book.

Oh wow...if I cld rate this 10* I Wld definitely.Beau has been there from the beginning but in the background but always making his presence felt. You cld always feel his pain and once he met kenzie it was always lights out, he was a gonnerBeau is so sexy and wow his kinky side was amazing. Luved the hot alpha mixed in with the most tender and gentle side of him. His handling of Kenzie was perfect and just what an abuse victim needed without treating her like one. This was painful at times to read cause domestic violence is never easy to stomach but River handles this subject with care and tact, whilst retaining authenticity in the realms of this story. So happy they tied the knot. Great Wedding vows. I absolutely Luved reading that part gave me goosebumps.to know we have a little Beau coming....yay.Luv continuing on with the other characters and finding out whats going on with them. Jessie hasn't changed at all, he's still winding everyone up and inadvertently keeping everyone focussed. He and Belle getting engaged...awesome. he always cracks me up.Broke my heart reading abt Kelly and,Brooks. Hope we don't have to wait to long for their book. I just know we are gonna need more Kleenex. Lol.River you have outdone yourself with this book. They just get better and better. So glad I found your books. This series is a definite must read.

5 AMAZING Stars!
I'm a huge fan of this series with Nix being my favourite and I really look forward to any Nix appearances in the other books, even if its only briefly but now I just don't know???? Beau may have just topped Nix *sigh*. Must admit I had my reservations about the quiet Beau from the previous books but they have all been blown out of the water. (spoilers)This book deals with a very sensitive subject matter - abuse. In my opinion this is a difficult topic to discuss and read about so to have this author write about it in such a way that it touches you deeply and makes you hurt for Mackenzie, Missy and all the women Beau and the MC helps is absolutely amazing and I cant sing her praises highly enough! Well done! Now Beau.... I could rave all day and night about him, his heart is so big and beautiful and there wasn't one thing I didn't like about him, which is huge, from his tattoos, piercings, man-bun and beard to his deep growly dirty-talking voice, just so sexy. The way he treats Mackenzie just melts my heart. It was great to get the snippets from the other members of the Club, including the women who are strong enough to partner them. Don't get me wrong he is still all badass biker and proves it on numerous occasions. This story was heartbreaking, scary, beautiful, funny and the sexy times, oh my *fans self* it kept me reading late into the nite and really not wanting to put it down. I really loved how Beau and Mackenzie's relationship had time to develop before the sexy times started, so realistic for Mackenzie's circumstances, it didn't feel rushed or forced.I cannot say enough about how amazing this book, and series, is. This instalment has set the expectation of the next one very high for me.

I FINALLY HAVE #MANDIESBEAU
I have waited, how many books for this guy to come into my life! and he's finally here.BEAU! What can a I say. I knew from when River Savage wrote Incandescent that there was something mysterious about this man, something hidden, something captivating and something just plain sexy and domineering.....We know from all previous books that he was involved in rescue operations, but something from a mission in an early book we know stays with him or should I say somebody never leaves his mind....Mackenzie is broken, she needs fixing. She needs to be able to walk this earth feeling free. Who can save her??? She runs back to the only person she knows can save her. Did she realise this at the time? Did Beau ever think this mission wasn't over? River hits a hard subject again in this book and writes with dignity and passion.I have read this book twice already and could even go back and re read for a third time (my slight obsession). I love the way River wrote Beau, you cry, laugh and love with him. you know what he wants and want to help him get it.I am not very good a reviews but please you have to read this series, I personally do not want it to end

Great series
Overall I enjoyed Infatuation. It was certainly a lot more gritty than the previous books, but for me this was a highlight as I like that edge to my MC reads and hope this continues together with much more MC content. One of the things I like from this series is that we always get really strong characters and I never doubt their connection and never struggle to believe in them and this was the case again with Beau and Kenzie.I did, however, struggle with the tempo of the book and at the beginning the story seemed to needlessly drag on, although this was not the case on the back end of the book. While this wasn't my favourite book in the series, it was still a good read and a series I would happily recommend.
