Newer model, works great
I had an Energizer AA and AAA battery charger before, for many years, and it finally gave out. The old model plugged right into the outlet. This model has a cord that plugs in. It works the same way, but is actually more convenient because I can place it where I want and have it stationary on my desk to charge my batteries. It charges fast and reliably. Been using it for months and highly suggest others get this product and save money on batteries by going rechargeable.

It's pretty... pretty "okay"
The design is a little wonky. It's top-heavy, and doesn't stand up well because the bottom surface is angled forward. AA batteries only sit in very awkwardly - and somewhat loosely - making it potentially easy for them to fall out. The worst is the charge time: EIGHT HOURS for 800mA AAA batteries. Officially, 8-12 hours, but I bought Energizer's 1300mAh batteries...so I'm looking at over half a day just to charge four batteries! Ridiculous! This is SO slow! The worst part is that I didn't even know this until I opened the package and read the instruction manual, and by then it's really too late for a return... I normally use Pale Blue batteries that have their own built-in charger, and are Li Ion and charge in about 1 hour, but I had a fairly urgent need to fill so I needed something cheap and quick. This Energizer charger was not a good solution. Súper bien, excelente
Me encantó! Hace años había tenido otro cargador de batería de otra marca y este es mucho mejor, incluye dos pilas y compré otras dos de la misma presentación en el super para tenerlo completo. Tienen una excelente duración para ser recargables, prácticamente la misma duración de las baterías duracell que no lo son. Es importante que se carguen por completo, que el foco verde se apague para apreciar la verdadera duración de las baterías. Muy feliz por esta compra.

Good Product - its been more than 3 months
Product is good, no issues. Make sure you charge at least 2 batteries at a time, i don't see it working for a single one.
