Is the daisy chain port full, unswitched usb power, or is it controlled via the speed control? as it's located after the speed switch it wasn't clear.

The port is controlled by the switch. I got 4.9V on H, 4.4V on M, lower than 4V on L and no output on OFF.

can you use with xbox one,what is the USB type?

I put one of these on my Xbox One and it works great. It isn't loud at all and keeps my system cooler. It is a standard usb connection (not a mini or micro USB).

Will this centrifugal fan work better than the equivalent axial version behind a HEPA filter? I heard centrifugal fans work better with pressure drops

centrifugal fans work better when a pressure difference is necessary ie your HEPA filter, this fan will work better than an axle fan and as the filter starts clogging up will continue to pull air longer

Can you power the blower on full speed with the female usb port? i know that it is designed to power an additional fan.

静かで大風量！

10GbpsのLANカードを導入した際に、一緒に導入を決めたシロッコファンです。 LANカードに向けて、直接風が当たるように向きを調整して取り付けました。 USB-Aから入力電圧を貰って、12Vで稼働しているのですが、三段階にファンの回転数を調整可能で、たぶん、12V / 5V / 3Vにファンの電圧を変えているのだと思います。風量もしっかり有って、静音で、PC本体から電源を採るのでエコですし、コレが在れば、例えば夏場の熱帯魚の水槽や、外付けのHDDや夏場のワンコルームの冷却など、イロイロ利用出来るんじゃないか？と、思っています。

Fantastic Cooling solution

I bought 4 Ac infinity Fans for my receiver and an for another amp. However I only needed two. One for the Receiver and one for the amp, as they draw out the heat more than adequately . I highly recommend these. If you have heat issues or just want to make sure your equipment doesn't overheat. Perfect for Home Theaters.
