Would a 6month old who can sit up be able to use this?

Yes, as long as he can sit up on his own. We bought this for our 6 mth old and he still loves it at 15 months. Definitely worth the money.

In the product information say it use 2 AA batteries , what are the batteries for? Or its a mistake in the info

No batteries just a great little push around car!

where can we get a replacement steering wheel column? ours snapped in two. it was hardly used yet.
