2020 Tacoma SR
Installed on my 2020 SR Tacoma. I wanted to retract my last review on these 6x9 punch speakers. I initially installed one of the speakers and left the other stock one on to compare the difference. I initially thought the stock speaker bass was better. But now that I have both the Fosgate speakers on, I can honestly say that the bass is better on these opposed to the stock speakers. I think a head unit with an equalizer would be a perfect upgrade for these speakers. These speakers are awesome compared to the stock ones. The bass and highs has a lot more clarity.

Ok
Good for the money but nothing spectacular does not have a lot of bass and I have an aftermarket system with everything you need to make it sound good and it is like I said definitely better than the factory. Very clear Chris sounding but that little to no base for an aftermarket speaker that's supposed to be one of the better cheap speakers I have some jbls who cost about 50 bucks more and it's a night and day different on the sound so my experience is if you're going to look for bass stick with JBL or kicker and if you're just wanting them for your sound is a good bye. I have JBL GTOs and they some I haven't even got up to the JBL stadium just ordered so I can't wait to try when I get here I imagine they're going to thinp as loud as a cheap subwoofer

Will not fit a 2007-2017 Jeep Patriot / Compass without cutting
Love RF, and have several Punch/Prime products. These are great speakers, however be aware that Amazon states these are a "amazonCONFIRMEDfit" for 2007-2017 Jeep Patriot/Compasses, and they are not, unless you want to cut them and the interior door panels of your vehicle. The mounting surrounds on these are fatter than stock and have extra material around the mounts that do not seat in the factory positions. There is also a plastic panel inside all the doors of the Jeep that surrounds a portion of the speaker (which these do not clear). If you don't mind cutting (and voiding any chance of return), you can mate these up. Also be aware though the connectors for positive and negative terminals are also fatter than standard for the common speaker wiring harnesses/adapters sold here as well, so you'll have to improvise there too.If you want a factory fit RK upgrade, just look for the Prime series RF 6x9s. I have the Prime 3-way 6x9's now, and they are a direct replacement, although are a bit lower wattage than the Punch series.

It might take some modifications.
Absolutely terrific speakers! Just make sure to purchase the conversion kits for Toyota and know you'll be soldering a couple connectors. It's honestly easier than you think.

Definite upgrade from my stock speakers on my 2012 Ram 1500!
I installed these in my 2012 Ram 1500 front and rear doors. They fit great in the rear door once you break off a small tab in the speaker opening. The front door requires four 1/2" nylon spacers to hold the speaker off the metal power window support 'beam'.a) Take your door panel off (plenty of instructions on the web for this!)b) Use a 5mm socket to remove your speakerc) Unhook the speaker from the pigtaild) Pry the speaker wire off the plastic holder/connector in the door.If BACK doora) break the tab that the speaker wire was connected to in side the speaker hole. It is a triangular piece of plastic -- just take pliers and wiggle it back and forth. It will be in the way for the Fosgate speakers given the additional size/depth.b) Make sure you order a Metra 72-6514 harness. You will need to replace the female connectors (they are too small for the male connectors on the Fosgate) with 1/4" connectors from the auto parts store. Black is negative and white is positive.c) Hook the Metra 72-6514 harness to these speakers using the new connectors. If you don't use this harness, you will need to splice the wire in the door to the speaker (no fun!)d) Plug the harness into the pigtaile) Re install speaker using the stock 5mm bolts -- you will need to jiggle the wire to get it out of the way behind the speakerIf FRONT door:a) Get 1/2" nylon spacers from hardware store to raise the speaker away from the power window support 'beam'.b) Make sure you order a Metra 72-6514 harness. You will need to replace the female connectors (they are too small for the male connectors on the Fosgate) with 1/4" connectors from the auto parts store. Black is negative and white is positive.c) Hook the Metra 72-6514 harness to these speakers using the new connectors. If you don't use this harness, you will need to splice the speaker wire directly which is no fun!d) Plug the harness into the pigtaile) Re install the speaker, but use the 1/4" bolts that come with the Fosgate. Put the nylon spacers between the speaker and the door panel (you put the bolt through it). The speaker will clear the door panel by a hair.f) Make sure you jiggle the wire (pigtail and harness) behind to get it out of the wayRe install your door panel and you are good to go.Good to go!
