Description

Tiny deep green leaves are beautifully patterned black with white eyelash edges and light pink flowers. Begonia bowerae var. nigramarga is a small/miniature rhizomatous of the 'eyelash' type. It has many small noncleft leaves with a very clearly marked pattern. Not a difficult dwarf to grow. A mist of abundant pale pink flowers dotted with pinpricks of dark pink hover over brown blotched 4" foliage. This is a pleasant plant to work with in a terrarium, miniature garden, on a windowsill or a summer shade garden. The "eyelash" affect has you taking a second look at this colorful, attractive plant.
