Diffraction Spectroscope, Pocket Grating Gemological Spectrometer for Quick Gemstone Identification and GIA Use

I'm impressed with the quality and utility of the spectroscope. It's good enough to help me know how interesting spectroscopy is going to be as I learn more.

NO directions not even which end to look through and that's important!! little info on line on this piece and have to read about other similar devices. A play toy at best without some basic knowledge. I'll keep trying by reading forams, asking some friends with more knowledge etc. Disappointed but that might change in time, lots of time!!

Great for the price very accurate with full sized view of spectrum. Identify gemstones with a great tool comparable to Gem- A spectroscope. Professional quality at a decent price this not a toy. Is as good as Gem-A. GIA approved one that goes for double. Great precision optics and shows full spectrum no scale. Great for gemological research and any other purpose. Move back to veiw full spectrum!!! Doesn't have grating lines but is still great.

The grating is not high quality but it works. Unit is sturdy and would be adequate for field work

No instructions, seems nobody has purchased this item so no videos on internet, thanks for wasting my money
