Pentax 6x21 monocular
This is a well made monocular, light weight, and small enough to fit your pocket. It is easy to focus, using the two push button, and gives a good clear and bright view. But the limitations are with the small 6x21.Nevertheless, it is a good thing to carry when out and about.

Very interesting little gadget
This set has that feel of quality, it's made in the main of a hard plastic but doesn't feel cheep. The monocular is very clear and very easy to focus, it isn't heavy but has a nice solid to it. The microscope attachment is well made and fit easily to the monocular and works very well. You can attach your mobile phone to the monocular easily using the fitting supplied. I can't comment on the phone attachment as my phone in its protective case didn't fit, it was just to wide. That's one of the reasons I returned the set the other being the size of the monocular, it was too small for my hands. Neither of my reasons for returning this set are a reflection on the quality of the product. If I had a teenage child who was interested in nature I'd buy them this set.

Outstanding on all fronts
Light, clear, bright image, simple focus, can be used in the case, adaptors are superb. Best Mono I've ever used or owned.

Pentax 63620 Monocular
This monocular is very light, easy to hold and very convenient when out walking, you can slip it in a pocket. We also use it to look at birds in the garden. We haven't tried the night vision yet so I can't comment on that. But all in all it is a useful device to have.

Not impressed
Far too light to focus easily. Would compare with difference between large digital SLR camera and small pocket camera. Easy to keep former still when taking photos, whilst difficult to keep latter steady. As I felt it too small and light returned day it was delivered.

Conviniently small and lightweight, but performance is limited
I have the Pentax Papillo 2 close focus binoculars, I wanted to try one of these monoculars instead because I find the sight of 2 field stops in the field of view a little strange at extreme close focus. Apart from that I love the Papillo's. I have other high end binos and the Papillos are purely for observing flowers, plants insects, bees butterflies etc mostly in my garden. This monocular delivers a wider field and a nicely defined field stop, but lacks the "wow" factor of the binoculars. I quickly returned this monocular and decided to keep the Papillos and for close focus observation I would reccommend them over this monocular hands down, they far outperform this monocular in every way, they give stunning, bright, clear, sharp detailed images that blow you away. if size and weight are the most important issue or you want to take photos with the adapter or use it as a microscope then maybe purchase one of these monoculars but you'll be missing out in other ways. They retail at the same price as this binocular btw.

For the price this is an excellent product
So I purchased this for lightweight travel and cycling. It is absolutely excellent, cant fault it. Lightweight, beautifully engineered and built, oozes quality and optically fantastic. Its a Pentax... need I say more.

Light and bright
First use of this monocular you really could see the bright image with lots of contrast . Very light and small . For me, too light and unfortunately too small for my big hands . A quality product and the fast focus rocker on the top works great and you get used to it quickly. As the extended rubber eyecup does NOT come standard on the basic monocular you get it on the camera phone/ microscope adapter,( see library photo attacked ) I found , as I don’t wear glasses , that I had to ‘hover’ my eye further back than the fixed eyecup which made it a bit uncomfortable to use although an ideal choice for glasses wearers. I have donated this monocular to my teenage son who really likes it.
