Q: Will this work well on a chalk painted wall that has chalk AND chalk marker residue?

The spray and sponge will help to reduce any ghosted marks, however since chalkboard wall paint is absorbent there may still be a shadow, so it is possible you may have to repaint the wall. That being said, if you use the kit before painting it you will not have to use as many coats of paint because the ghosting will be lighter and will not show through as easily.

Hi! Yes, it works; however, we recommend not scrubbing too hard because it may take the paint off since the sponge is mildly abrasive.

Hi! Our cleaning kit works very well when erasing our chalk markers on non-porous chalkboards. We recommend using a magic eraser like Mr. Clean to remove the remaining chalk marks on a porous chalkboard.
