White Boxes of Matches with Strike On - 50

The one thing you need to be aware of is these are a little bit smaller than traditional matchboxes. I realized that when I started using some papers I had printed up from the internet to make a little gift, the papers were bigger than these matchboxes. If you have something that is size specific then be aware of the fact the size is just a tad smaller. However, these are sturdy enough and I like that they are white so whatever I want to do to decorate the covers I can easily do. The matchsticks are white tipped. Just for fun I tried to run through a box to see if they lit ok. Every match in the box I tried worked the first time.

These matches are exactly what I was looking for! Perfect size for my needs, they work really well and light easily. They're also a good thickness—not flimsy or too thin like some others I've ordered in the past from different seller. Great quality and super reliable!

I enjoy decortating these boxes, often with stickers, and including them whenever I give a candle as a gift.

The matches themselves are sturdy and strike well. Unfortunately, I was more interested in the matchboxes and they are small, flimsy and only have one strike strip (one side, not both). The labels stuck well to the box and I didn't have to worry about covering up a strike strip, though. I made them work for my project, but be warned!

These were purchased to put in a memorial bag for a celebration of life. I printed stickers and put them on the box. It worked great. 2 years later, after refilling with store-bought matches many times, the few boxes I kept for myself are still in great shape.

These are nice. They function well; light easily when struck. They look simple and nice, undistracting. The quality is what you expect. They are made in Japan. The only possible criticism is really a trait of the simple, unadorned design: there is no visual clue as to which side should be up when opened. But this is not a flaw but a side-effect of the simple design. Unlike some match packs, the strike provided is durable enough to light all matches in the box.

Okay for the price. I recommend checking every box if you’re using these for a business or as favors because many of the match sticks arrive broken and facing all directions.

As a minimalist, I love that I can find simple wooden matches in a completely white unmarked box.
