So happy I purchased these!
A true value for your money, reliable, long, solar, powered battery life, and definitely water resistant. A lot brighter than I had expected with three choices of lighting. Covered a lot more of an area than I thought. I would definitely recommend this product. Great find and simple to hang up anywhere.

Best solar lights Iโve ever owned. Highly recommend
I have purchased many solar lights, in fact in the last month Iโve taken many of them back to Loweโs home improvement because theyโre not very good. That being said, I thought I better read reviews and get some better quality solar lights. So I looked on Amazon and saw these and the reviews and they looked like they would work. So I bought four of them and installed 2 of them At my house in the backyard this week. Theyโre easy to install with two screws on a flat surface. Thereโs a little button in the back that you push to select your mode which I pushed the button twice to select a lower lighting mode along with a motion detection that goes super bright for 15 seconds which is fantastic. I love this feature because it gives you a constant significant lighting path to conserve energy because a lot of times the other solar lights would fizzle out and would be dead or almost dead by morning. Not these! Even a half an hour before sunrise there still super bright when motion is detected. I love these. I know some people have griped about there wanting a longer time than just 15 seconds. But what would be the point? If youโre walking past it, it has accomplished its purpose. If you need the light in that area constantly, then select the mode where the light stays bright all the time.. But if youโre working in that area temporary as long as thereโs motion, itโs going to detect you and come on. So whatโs up with those complaints? Anyway, I bought some to take up to our cabin in the mountains as well because the sun is not as strong there compared to here. The picture shows two of these that I installed there. I buy a lot of products from Amazon as well as eBay. I have never written a review for Amazon. But this product impressed me so much I felt compelled to do so. I canโt imagine anyone being disappointed truly with these if youโre a reasonable person. Theyโre practical, theyโre easy to install and they have a variety of modes for your needs and theyโre powerful. How long will they last? That yet remains to be seen. But to help with that, I bought the four year protection plan and only $2.50 per light. So Iโm good no matter what for four years at a reasonable price. So for now I am super happy with them. DANIEL

Bright light, but with quirks worth noting
Bright light, but with quirks worth noting Iโve been testing these Aootek solar motion lights for a couple of weeks now, and overall they put out a very strong, bright light for their size. At 182 LEDs each, they easily illuminate a good portion of my yard and front walkway. The wide-angle coverage is noticeable, and with two units included, you can place them strategically to cover blind spots. For basic security lighting, they do the job well. The build feels solid and weatherproof, and so far theyโve handled a couple of rain showers without issue. Installation was straightforward โ just a couple of screws into the wall, and the panels started charging right away in decent sunlight. No wiring needed, which is the biggest convenience here. That said, there are a couple of quirks. First, the motion sensor is very sensitive โ it tends to pick up passing cars or even branches swaying in the wind, so the lights may come on more than you want. Second, the advertised 2500 lumens feels a bit optimistic. While bright, it doesnโt quite compare to a wired 2500-lumen floodlight I already own. Also, the battery seems to drain quickly on cloudy days if you keep it on a higher brightness mode. You may need to experiment with the three available modes to balance brightness and battery life. Bottom line: These are solid, bright solar lights that are easy to install and effective for general security or pathway lighting, but expect some trial and error with modes and placement to get the best performance.

Bright and makes a lot of difference at night
Bright lights they really make a difference on the front of my house, they seem water resistant but the last ones I had lasted for a few years then got water inside making them orange . Motion sensing is accurate, great quality that's why they're my second set of lights

A++ Must Buy! 10 Month Review
Used for a fall winter spring & summer. Insane quality for the price. My dog was uncomfortable & nervous going potty at night until I got these. Installed two of these 50 FT apart & it lights up the whole yard for the right amount of time then shuts off. Senses movement good enough. Bright and just works, I havenโt touched it since I installed. Downward shooting beam so neighbors donโt notice. This brand made the pair I got from Home Depot look like junk.

Good item & helpful seller
The bad: I purchased the 2 pack of lights and one was dead right out of the box. Seller was helpful however, and issued a refund for the single defective light. The good: After about a week or so of being mounted outside our house the second light is working as it should. I bought this to add some light to our home's side door. We have a motion light but it faces the yard on an overhang so it doesn't provide light in the actual door area. This worked as a nice solution without having to do any electrical work. The light has 3 different settings but for our use, I simply opted for the motion only mode. Its fairly bright for its size, maybe 400 lumens as a rough guess. The beam is very broad, so it has more of a wide spread rather than being narrow. I do wish it was just a tad more tighter and focused light; it doesn't quite have the raw power for the role of a far reaching flood type light. Either way, it lights up the area where you mount it, so it does the job. Motion sensing is right on as well. I'd say probably between 10 and 15 feet it triggers the sensor and it comes on. I have it mounted about 8 or 9 feet up above our door and it turns on as it should at night. I haven't taken it apart yet but based on the reviews it seems to be powered by a single 18650 battery via the single solar panel on top. This gives you some options if you ever need to replace the included 2000 mah or so battery. A better quality and higher capacity 3000 may cell will likely be my next step when the time comes. A few words of advice: The light seems to work best in direct or close to direct sunlight. I originally mounted it underneath the doors overhang and it just wasn't getting enough sun. Some days it would work fine but when we had several cloudy rainy days it wouldn't turn on for the next few nights. With that said, it might be wise to skip the screws and just use heavy duty outdoor mounting tape if you are uncertain it will get enough sun. Also, the fact that 1 out of 2 of mine were dead that is enough reason to perhaps consider tape over drilling holes. Overall, as it is now I'm happy with the light for the short time we've had it. The fall/winter isn't ideal for solar lights but I'll update as time passes. *** 3 Month Update *** Still working fine, despite these dim winter days. It is a small solar panel so you do want it in direct sun. Even so, you will notice spotty performance when you have consecutive rainy days. However, it does work great otherwise and has been holding up well in the cold, rain and snow so far. Nice to have some extra light at the front door!

Bright perfectly functioning solar motion lights...
So far, I really like these solar lights. Obviously, no idea how they will continue to perform, but โout of the boxโ performance is impressive! (Esp. At this price!) Iโm using both of them on โCONTINOUS โLOW BRIGHTโ WITH โFULL BRIGHTโ ON MOTIONโ - I have not seen them run down yet. I was up at 2AM one morning and both were still lit. They both detect well and โin spec.โ (I do kind-of wish they detected a bit further than 3 meters, but I knew that going in). I like them... 3/16/2019 OK, bought 6 more of these LED light and mounted them along my walkway at each step. I really like these things. I've added an MP4 video, but I shot it at extremely high resolution. Not sure it will upload so I may have to re-shoot it. But I digress. These lights haven't given me the slightest problem and it's pretty neat the way they come on and brilliantly light up the walkway, then time out at the pace you were walking. I think I will do the entire length of our driveway next! I use the "B" setting, 'DIM after dark, brilliant on motion, then back to DIM. They do last all night if there's been any reasonable amount of sun that day. edit 3/19/2019-finally got one (a video) small enough to upload edit 9/13/2022-Well, the initial order (first group) is starting to fail at approx: 2.5 years. (only 2 or the original 8 have failed so far) I purchased 4 more. I am SO SATISFIED with these lights, thus the repeat order. However, the newer ones have been redesigned. Switching now is electronic (single push button) rather than with a mechanical selector switch. There are more LED's now much tighter pack together, and they "appear" brighter. The motion sensor has MUCH better detection. If these last for 2.5 years I'll order more. All but one lamp of the initial 2 batch order of 4 units are mounted at ground level next to a concrete walkway and fully exposed to the elements. When it rains, they are hit obviously from the top and then spashed from the bottom. I guess I'm trying to relate they are definitely water resistant if not waterproof "properly mounted." (upright and vertical) I will definitely order these again if needed.

Instructions don't match and flush mount is impossible
The price and value seem to be good and the LED array is fine. But too soon to tell if I'll get 5 years out of these lights as I did the nearly identical EverBrite that they are replacing. Two issues are irritating: 1) The instructions are for an older/different model with an A-B-C-OFF slider switch. Instead there is a single push button that "should" be defaulted to off. Then you guess what mode is next with one push, two pushes, etc. Since the button is on the back, if you guess wrong you'll be unmounting the light to change it. Worse the instructions add to the confusion by telling you that in "Motion sensor mode (only switch B and C workable, switch A is not workable" and "If you want to check whether the product can work normally or not, please open switch A or B or C in the back". Given that there is one button and not three switches, this is simply gibberish! 2) The light is mounted with two screws at the top. There is nothing to secure the side or bottom. The top screws are fine for the minimal weight. The problem is the back panel has 8 screws to hold it to the main body. These 8 back screw holes have a small lip so when you tighten the two top mounting screws the back panel mounting lips don't allow the light to be flush with the house. The bottom of the light is not secure. I compensated by adding washers behind the two top mounting screws between the light and the house and pieces of exterior double sided tape to the bottom and sides. It's better, but still not solid to my house trim as the older EverBrite was. Aootek does provide a wall anchor to use for the top mounting screws. The wall anchor will also have a lip above the house surface that "might" compensate if you are mounting to stucco or drywall. But since I'm mounting into solid wood I have no need for these anchors and especially don't want to drill a larger than necessary hole in the house to use them. What appeared to be two simple screw holes to mount turned into a project.

Works as described BUT you cannot change the time that the light stays on (15 seconds)
Unit works as described but I wasn't aware that the 15 seconds 'light-on' time cannot be changed. It would be handy if there were a few more options (like 30 sec and 1min).

Fantastic Bright Floodlight
Fantastic bright floodlight, surprisingly small (the box for all 4 was so small I thought they'd only sent 1), but it really packs a punch. Wonderfully bright, excellent motion detection from several meters (at least) for our small dogs. Highly recommended.

good quality and not expensive
Very light, very bright, the solar panels charge quickly, and the sensor works appropriately. No problems with delivery.
