Review: Easy to use with my Whisper EX20 - These filters work perfectly with my Tetra water filter. I have the 20 gallon Whisper EX for my fish tank. This filter fits perfect with it, and I can probably go about 1 month between filter changes. I don't notice any issues with the filters either. They fit perfectly in the frame, and a minimum amount of algae grown happens. When it's time to replace them, they pop right back out and go into the trash. The filters are able to hold up, and I've never had any issues with degradation. I have been using them for about 3 years now with no issues at all.

**Q: Which direction do I put these filters on the green enclosure? Rougher side towards back, or rougher side towards front? Thanks!**
A: Coarser filter goes to the back so that it can remove the bigger particles before filtering on the finer side. My filter unit has two cartridges so I change one alternately every time I do a water change, every 3 weeks.

**Q: Can someone please measure the filter with a ruler. Several people have asked and no one has answered with actual measurements.**

**Q: have a filter with red insert carbon filter has to be attached to fits inside of 35 gallon filter  can't remember which filter type it was  help**
A: I would recommend you call our team at 1-800-526-0650 if you think it was one of ours. The red insert could be a bio grid which comes with one of our lines. Also, look at the top of the filter. We mold the model name and size in all of our lids.
