I love this monitor!
No, really. It's great. Best monitor I've ever had.I've Had it for quite a while now and everyone I've shown this monitor to is impressed with it.The included stand frees up so much space on my desk and allows me to move and angle the monitor around a lot to show other people stuff on my screen the stand is sturdy and strong and keeps the cables pretty neat too.it also rotates to vertical. ive already played some arcade shooters on native resolution this way and coding and drawing in vertical view is surprisingly relieving depending on what i'm doing. The screen it's self is crisp and clean, 2560x1440 with a high enough refresh rate (144hz), HDR and G-Sync as well.it records how long it's been on for, mine says it has been on for 2485 hours so far and still going strong! no dead pixels in sight, no flickering, no weird colouring, no weird light on black auras, no weird half-pixels.and you know what else? it's got this neat little feature where you can put a crosshair in the centre of your screen for fps games that don't have one/the crosshair sucks/doesn't allow you to customise it. (you can choose from multiple colours and shapes) (no more putting a tiny shred of sticky-note on your screen physically) (yes, some people do that.)(yes it's necessary.)does everything it says it does in the description,I'll definitely be looking at LG in the future if I ever need another computer monitor because I'm very happy with this one.

Brilliant monitor with Nvidia G-Sync BUT Amazon must take more care
Well this is an brilliant monitor and is an excellent all rounder. I use it for reading, writing and also gaming and it is very versatile and easily meets requirements of modern gaming with upto 144mhz refresh rate and 1ms response time this monitor is fast and supports Nvidia G-Sync. It also has a RGB back panel so the colours that it produces are very crisp and vibrant. When you take the monitor out of the box be careful how you handle it as there is a little joystick underneath the centre of the monitor in line with the LG logo . This is used to adjust your monitor profiles e.g. brightness, contrast etc. If you use this monitor for gaming select the HDR effect. There is also a specific setting for reading etc. The stand it comes with is a g-clamp style see photo but there are other different styles of fixing this monitor to your desk. The height is easily adjusted as it has a hydraulic style arm and is easy to life up and down. Once in place the monitor is easily adjusted forward, backward etc in the same way you would adjust a tv wall bracket although this can make the monitor protrude quite forward on your desk. If you had a simple plastic foot base stand it would resolve this problem but once you get used to the way the monitor is sited, it is lovely and you soon realise the old plastic feet support are just a cheap alternative. This is fantastic value for money and fits gaming requirements without the huge overspend. And I am one VERY HAPPY GAMER and also businessman who uses this monitor for his work.So - what are the bad points? I struggled to find any in my view but a wall mount option would have also been nice & the monitor does not have any built-in speakers but perhaps this helps make it affordable. However, I have a message is to Amazon and that is to request more care when high value goods are purchased. The most worrying thing about my monitor purchase and experience was the amount of holes put into the monitor packaging. You get the feeling that these were either induced or caused by being through being thrown around in the back of the van. I was lucky, I had no damage to the monitor as LG pack them very well but it is dis-heartening when you are eagerley waiting for something then you see the state that the monitor has arrived in and your heart sinks.

Outstanding.
Absolutely outstanding monitor. I had so many struggles even trying to choose which monitor to get, I wanted to step up to 1440p from 1080p. Was very close to getting the alienware 27" 1080p @240Hz model which has also excellent reviews for a 1080p monitor. So many options its difficult to choose. However people should know that from some research Dells gaming monitors in general do/ can do use LG screens/panels anyway so I thought it bests to stick with LG. Screen is perfect, its basically the 27GN850 model but with an even better stand, the stand is awesome, doesn't take up much room and leaves space under the screen for other things/ items. The adjustment is incredible also. I usually play SCUM and tried it in 1440p and it looks incredible. If people want more FPS then just adjust the settings in any game to 1080p which is very easy to do and also looks great. Monitor bezel is very thin which looks fantastic, very sleek. I used a displayport cable to allow G-Sync with my GPU which works straight away. Note your Nvidia account you can view your games and set it to optimise it to get best results depending on your GPU. Was also worried 27" is not large enough, with 32" in mind, but have to say 27" is perfect sweet spot @1440p. Also to get over 120 FPS anyway you'll need a displayport cable with Nvidia GPU's, and the monitor is supplied with one. Very easy to set up and attach to the stand, not sure why people have mentioned its not easy. If you struggle to pick a monitor @1440p @144Hz @1ms response that also suits Nvidia G-sync just get this otherwise you'll end up down a long dark road to pick one like me. Save yourself the hassle. @ £450 average price its well worth it. I'm glad I did. And if it arrives broken or damaged like some have experienced with any monitor that is you buy online, just send it back and get a replacement. Highly recommend.
