For years I kept all of those clear twist ties that annoyingly held down my kids' Christmas and birthday toys. You know the ones - they take hours to untwist for your eager child standing two inches from your face whilst you work feverishly to free their new toy. Well those ties are decorating gold. I use them for hanging a wreath at just the right height (extending it lower than the wreath hanger or hook). I use them to secure garland without being seen. The list rolls on. Now my kids are getting older and don't want as many toys secured with those clear twist ties. So I went in search of more. I found this stuff. I recently used it for my daughter's 4th grade class to string beads on for a project and it worked so beautifully that the teacher asked where I got it. Love this stuff!!

Great price; super-handy, especially for anyone dealing with electronics/cabling. Great way to organize and condense! No more jumbled, tangled mess of cables! I have used the "flat" twist tie, and now the "oval" version. Very satisfied with both! The "oval" type, I would say the oval type is a bit thicker and sturdy overall, but slightly less mailable than the flat type. However, different properties for different uses... Can't say one is better than the other and I have been equally satisfied with both. Lasted me quite a while. Another bonus is the size of the whole unit. Fits in the palm of your hand, yet has deceivingly long length! Very good product that I will definitely continue purchasing.

Every time you buy something with a cord it comes with a twist tie. Most of the time these are too short to use on power chords that are not really rolled tight. This product solves the problem for that. I had bought some other types of cord ties in the past. The rubber ones would break after awhile and the velcro ties were never the right size that I need at the time although that was my fault in getting them mixed up. This twist tie roll with cutter is easy and quick to use.

I've used a full roll of the white oval, and loved it. The clear, when working in a dark place, is difficult to see, and seems a tad smaller—more like a round than oval shape. Also, the plastic seems harder, so when wrapping and twisting, the plastic doesn't grip to itself as well as with the white. It is the 'points' of the oval that compress and hold the ties tight. There needs to be some finessing of the plastic size, shape and material characteristics to again earn five stars.

I bought my first roll back in 2016 and it was exactly the same as the thick twist ties that companies seem to use when you purchase hdmi, dvi, displayport, etc. cables.I recently re-purchased the product as my roll ran out. I was disappointed to see that the new twist tie is now thinner than before and feels more flat than oval. I am not sure if the plastic is thinner or if they used a smaller gauge of wire.Either way, I wish they kept the old design as the new design is pretty much the same as the cheap flat twist ties.I will use this until I can find a better alternative.

I use this in my crafting business where the standard 4" wide twist ties can't wrap around things like a wine or champagne bottle. The clipper is convenient (hence why this product is a 5 star overall), but is alright for cutting a couple ties at a time. Definitely not for 50+ like I would need so I'd switch to scissors because it was much quicker and less hand fatigue.

When I ordered this, I was hoping for the same type of wire tie that I find on the various products I have purchased, but this twist tie wire seems a bit different. When winding it around something, it will spring back a bit instead of remaining in what shape it was pulled into, sometimes making it more difficult to use. When twisting the ends together, it needs extra twists to keep it from loosening, since the twist will unravel slightly because of the springiness of the wire core. This product is useful, but I am still finding myself saving used twist ties from other products because of their better wire properties.

I really like the roll and the built-in cutter -- it's brilliant and very convenient. The whole thing is a bit smaller than I expected, but making it more compact and easy to store. The twist tie itself works, but it's not as stiff as I wanted. I had to pull out extra to make sure I have enough length to twist at the end a few times. Good thing that you can cut to the desired length depends on what you're trying to tie.It'd be a 5-star if the twist tie is stronger.
