I’m a small business out of Clearwater fl pier 60. I build custom skateboards and signs and have used this product for numerous custom molds. So from my business perspective I found this tape to be overall an excellent price with excellent benefits. I have only had two issues since switching over to this tape. The first was it isn’t super tacky so I use paper tape to anchor it and secondly that was when my heat gun or torch burns through spots when burning off bubbles in my epoxy. Other than that it allows excellent mold release, heat resistant as the epoxy sets and seals perfectly so I don’t have to use silicone in my mold corners. For larger gaps I will still put a bead of silicone just to ensure I don’t have any accidents but otherwise this works perfectly. I highly recommend buying this tape and giving it a try especially if you constantly make custom molds like I do for custom shaped decks and signs.

I bought this in September, and waited until I used it enough to write a fair review. So here it is: Fantastic! It does exactly what it’s meant to do, and more. It’s so great in fact that I recommend it by name, demonstrate some of its uses, and provide a link to this tape and this Amazon store on tutorials I write as well as the various social media groups Im a member of. Yes, it’s that good. And no I haven’t received anything for this review, I just believe in supporting small businesses and sellers with integrity. Anyway. I keep it on my work table and use it frequently with uv and epoxy resin projects, as well as with polymer clay. I’ve had it in a 265f oven for an hour and it didn’t melt, separate or do anything but hold molds together, clay pieces in place and bead rods in position. Customers who are complaining and giving negative reviews are doing so (from what I can discern anyway) because they aren’t using the tape in the correct manner, or they’re trying to use it for a purpose it’s not meant to be used for. Read the description, message the seller (they’re wonderfully responsive!) but don’t give undeserved reviews because you bought the wrong type of tape for your project. So. If you’re looking for high heat tolerant resin tape, look no further and buy this! You won’t be disappointed. Health, Happiness, and a good new year to you all.

Made a fiberglass molding process a breeze in comparison to a wax based release compound. Can be difficult on large products to remove the dried epoxy in one piece, but comes off cleanly with little to no residue. Would be 5 stars for smaller flat projects. Great for bases and edges.

Like: this tape resists epoxy resin. It’s easy to pull off the roll. This tape does not leave a pattern on the epoxy. Dislike: It is expensive. The adhesive needs to be pressed a lot to seal to the wood. Recommend you seal the wood before using the tape, I use clear coat.

I thought I was buying tape to help with my epoxy wood art. I taped this on and poured my epoxy in. All the tape fell off and I lost about 1/3 of the expensive epoxy I purchased for this project. Maybe this is just tape made of epoxy and not tape to be used in epoxy projects. This tape would probably not even work on a package because it’s not very sticky.

Tried to use this to frame an epoxy. Do not recommend for that. Not near sticky enough, even if n melamine. Might be good for crafts, but that was not my use case, so not sure.
