Pretty good shifters....
Attractive, like the lever 'n release action, they didn't take up a lot of room on the bars. 10 times better than the junk they replaced.

Excellent for people who intend to do gentler riding
I originally bought one pair as I was going to ride some local MTB trails, nothing too intense. I got them right on time then installed them, and rode my bike around for about 10 minutes when the right shifter broke. My friend had bought the same set and the exact same shifter broke on his so I’m not entirely sure if that’s a manufacturing issue. I bought a second pair as returning the first pair then buying a new pair wouldn’t work because of time restraints. My second pair arrived on time and I installed them and adjusted everything to precisely what I wanted and they’ve been working fine for about a month now. Highly recommended for people who have cheaper bikes with broken shifters, as this is a way better shifter design than the cheap twisting kind. Easy install, and the brake and shifter cables come long so that you can trim them to the size you need.

Best shifters have purchased in years
Used shifters on 1975 mountian bike. Shifts perfect compatable with old style derauilers. Made big differences in shifting.

Waste of money. Broke during installation.
I used these to replace an older scuffed up Shimano set. My intention was to freshen up a rebuild bike (that I had planned to give as a gift) with some new and unblemished parts. These shifters seemed to fit the bill. However, the left shifter snapped internally during the installation process while indexing the gears, and would not shift functionally thereafter.I tried to open it up and see if I could find the problem, but the whole thing then practically disintegrated in front of me. I ended up putting the old Shimano set back on.While I was disappointed about this set not working out, I was relieved to still have the original and still functional set that I could put back on. Sometimes old but faithful and proven is best. This was a good price for a shifter set, but BUYER BEWARE in terms of quality. They did feel, and appear, a little less reliable than the Shimano set over all. Perhaps this pair was an exception from the norm for these shifters, or maybe they would work out better with a different derailleur, I don’t know. But the quality definitely matches the price, in my opinion. These are less expensive than other shifter sets, but this is not a deal, they are cheaper for a reason!I now understand why people involved in this hobby say to save your money and buy used components in quality proven brands instead. These shifters came labeled with the WAKE brand decals. And while I have had no complaints about WAKE bar stems and handlebars…the shifters: not so much. Just be warned.

Don't Bother, and Here's Why
This product is a very close copy of the Shimano ST-EF500 3x7 MTB Bike Brake Levers Shifter Set. I have purchased several of the SHIMANO products and they are great. I could not find the Shimano on Amazon anywhere, and finally searched and found it for $40+.The FOTOMOR product seemed like a good deal at $19.95 so I purchased it. While installing it, I noticed the cable adjuster on the left side was not machined properly. The fit between the threads on the adjuster, and threads in the brake body were not machined properly.Being well into the installation, I figured I'd try it anyway. I finished the installation and it worked ok. Then I noticed the brake levers had about 3/4" play at the end of the brake lever, and rattled. This was due to poor fit on the pivot pin for each brake lever and the body of the shifter. That was it for me. I took them off and returned to Amazon for a full refund.I looked for the Shimano product on Amazon and it was $40+, though I paid around $25 for the ones I bought just a year or two ago. I searched eBay and found the Shimano products at $26.99, so I purchased it there. It's taking a week for delivery, but worth the wait to save $14.
