Works great
Works fine. I use this adapter with a usb cable to power my dash cam. Without the adapter, my dash cam would not record because it thought my cars usb port was a storage device. Now it acts as a power supply, and not a data transfer device which is what I wanted. Perfect.

Has worked in most places
Works in most places. I originally bought this to use for airplane usb ports on the in flight entertainment systems which recharge at probably only 500ma. But that's the only place I've tried it that it didn't work. Had to just slow charge without it. Some planes have an independent AC adapter outlet with usb ports under the seats, but I haven't ridden one of those with this yet. Plus a regular charger can just be plugged into the AC outlet for full speed charging.It has worked on my PC usb port, the Xbox usb port, a few random usb ports at the airport lounge, usb ports in waiting area seating, and one other place like a restaurant that I can't quite remember the location of. My phone shows AC charging instead of usb charging and definitely charged faster. I definitely wanted the data blocking for random usb charging ports regardless of charging speed, but it seems that it has also charged at a fast speed everywhere it has worked. So it seems like it either works and at higher charging amps or it doesn't.When I plugged it on the plane, it just didn't read anything. The phone didn't show anything, and the usb port had a blue led that lit when first plugged, and that didn't light either. Took it off and it charged. Tried it again and it didn't work. I'm still happy with it as when it does work, it'll give faster charging and block data transfer.

I use it in my car to charge my phone. My phone now charges without trying to connect to the car. LOVE this little thing! :D

Decreases charge time from laptop in half!
A must have if you travel or work from remotely in public places frequently.

Does not work with Jeep Uconnect USB ports
Does not work with Jeep Uconnect USB ports. Bought hoping to only charge my phone, and not interrupt or play music through the USB. Causes power to quickly turn off and on, completely unusable. Returned and got a SyncStop instead which does not include the "Fast-charge" but works fine.
