Very reasonably priced and the quality is really good also.
This is a nicely made product. The directions were a bit hard to understand and I'm very mechanically inclined. ( I'm a carpenter and a jack of all trades). I wouldn't recommend someone who doesn't work with power and hand tools very much to make arrangements to have this installed by either a contractor or at the least a friend or 2 that's mechanically inclined. Make sure you give yourself 3-4 inches of space between the top bracket and the actual awning because if you mount them to close you will not be able to get the awning moved into the correct angle to bolt the brackets to the awning. One knock on this product is I installed this approximately 5 months ago and the screws they provide to attach the flat panels to the framing are already rusting so I'm assuming they're not galvanized. I would recommend replacing the small black screws with galvanized so they won't rust in the elements. I've received a few nice comments from my neighbors and it absolutely makes life easier when your trying to get your door opened in the rain. If you look at the picture of my awning installed you may wanna consider installing your about 5 inches lower than mine. My opinion is that it would look slightly nicer if it was a little lower. I should of made the bottom brackets level or an inch or two lower than the top of my doorway opening ( transit window included). Other than the screws and the confusing directions this is a very well made and nice looking product that I would definitely recommend purchasing if your looking for an awning. It's around 75% cheaper than calling an awning company to have them install an awning. A few thousand dollars compared to 500, you just have to decide how/ who your gonna have Install it. I definitely recommend at least 2 people with 2 ladders/ a third person to stay on the ground would absolutely be a big help if it's an option for you. They can hand you tools, grab anything you may drop and even assist you with carrying it up the ladders. I assembled the awning on the ground so I could get the measurements I need to drill the holes in my brick wall for the brackets lag bolts. I used a 3/8 x 2" galvanized lag with a small washer and a lock washer to hang my awning. I don't believe you get hardware to hang it. I know I had to use hardware from my personal stock.

Worst Customer Service
I really like the look of the Awning zero problem with Awning itself. However…. I was missing a piece of hardware required to hang it. So… I attempt to call Awntech… lol don’t waste your time. You will need to email. Get the part number. Find out that I will need to purchase the item that wasn’t included in the box! 🤣 then told the shipping was more than the item. Ok…. So then I need to pay for this item…. So… try to call again. Nope not taking calls for purchase either you must email another dept. lol absolutely zero customer service. I really like this but there is zero chance I will ever purchase from this company again.Update: I paid for this item via link provided due to not being able to pay direct… I was told the part would be shipped per invoice on the 23rd….. come to find out that it was NOT shipped until the 28th. They charged me $14 to ship an item that weighed less than one pound. Such poor customer service! I am a small business owner, this type of service wouldput me out of business.

Great product!
It’s a great product. We installed it on a tiny house.

Cost seems high for final product.
Looks very nice over our back door but the directions were a nightmare! Took two college educated adults three hours and multiple redos to figure it out! Hence the four stars instead of five

Very cheaply made
Workmanship is bad Underneath was half painted . It’s only been a few months and paint peeling and a lot of rust

Rusted within a week
The awning arrived with missing parts. While trying to get the missing parts the item rusted within a week sitting in the garage.

Looks Good!
Contrary to all the ad reviews, I thought this product was great. True, the directions were awful, but the quality was good and it looks great!
