Let's face it, this isn't exactly a complex product. I've had other pant leg bands that stretched out over time. These are not going to do that. They are beefy quality and simple. I like the width too. Good product.

Works great with boots under jeans

I love that there are so many of them, so you can keep them wherever you deem handy! They're easy to use and plenty sturdy. Be a fashionista and start a trend--wear multiple on each leg!

They work well as waist adjustments for pants

with my old bike i always used to get the pant leg bottoms caught up in the chain. end result torn greasy pants. i hadn't had a bike in years until just recently and remembered those pants ripping experiences. i saw these and thought hey that's a good idea.you do get exactly what is described here on this page. there is nothing whatsoever wrong with them. i only gave them the rating i did because in hindsight, if getting your pants caught up in the chain is an issue we have velcro straps now in pretty much every brick and mortar store.that said these are essentially velcro and elastic cloth straps. a little different than the rolls of velcro sold in stores. the biggest difference being not cut to size yet and price. i don't typically wear pants, instead normally i wear shorts. however if i was wearing a good pair of pants and needed to ride the bike i would make use of these.all said for some these may well be useful and for some like myself not so much. even at that there are alternative means out there to keep out of your chain but to each their own preference. yes these will do what they are intended for. so if you do end up getting these velcro straps you won't be disappointed.
