100mm External Wall Vent Cover, White, Draught Reducing | Sound-Reducing Baffle With Draught Exclusion, Suitable For Extractor Fan And Heat Recovery Outlets.

The side of my property is a bit of a wind tunnel and bathroom and kitchen extractor vents face it and create quite a draught. I saw these and although expensive I decided to give them a try. I’m impressed by the quality of the product. Yes it is quite difficult to separate the two parts but it is worth the effort! I had them fitted at the start of the heatwave so haven’t yet gauged their effectiveness but I’m confident they will do the job. They also look very sleek and contemporary against my rendered walls.

This has made a big difference by reducing the rattling noise from the extractor fan in the ensuite which was waking me up before. As others have mentioned, removing the cover wasn’t easy but once it was off, it was easy to install with the supplied fittings. Not the cheapest vent cover but worth it for a better night’s sleep!

Fitted this in @ 10 minutes to replace an old flapper louvred type. However, during this cold, breezy spell I noticed that the shower room was now distinctly chilly due to cold air coming in through the open type vent. I’ve now ordered an inline back draught damper to slide into the vent pipe, I’m confident that will do the trick.

Bought this to use on a wind facing wall and does the perfectly. No noise can be heard on windy days. Is slim in design and looks modern and not out of place on the wall. Comes in various colours too. Would buy again.

Extremely easy to install. A lot of reviews say its difficult to separate the two pieces (which I agree). The design seems ro suggest you neet to put a flathead screwdriver and open from the top, which in reality it needs to open from the BOTTOM! See attached manual.All diameters have the same screw placement (just a different diameter hole).Overall very pleased. I will update on how it behaves during high wind..

No noise, no moving parts, good rain protection, only downside is cost.

It does the job, finally the flap is quiet in the wind. My old one didn't let me sleep.

Easy to install and look great. I would have given 5 stars but the overall size is a little larger than anticipated and I couldn’t find size details on the page.

L'articolo è fatto bene. Ne avevo acquistati due a 20 euro l'uno per provarli con la VMC di casa. Ora ne volevo prendere altri 5 ma ho notato che il prezzo in pochi giorni è passato da 20 a 33 euro. Veramente troppi.

Peccato che l’ho trovato un po’ delicato e nella posizione che avrei dovuto metterlo sarebbe durata poco, per cui l’ho restituito,però è bello
