Nice and punchy
Seems to handle all genres I’ve thrown at it pretty well, from drum and bass, disco, house to indie. The bass and treble adjustments seem satisfying enough when changed. Highs and mids are nice and low end has a nice punchy deep feel to it.The knobs don't have the upmost highest of quality but are very sturdy.2023 Update:Still going strong and still feels like new, I have well and truly made an impression at parties and the sound quality is fantastic. These speakers are excellent for the price!

1 does the job but two is better
So I bought this for my mobile dj rig, just the one as that’s all I need. It is very loud but starts clipping when you have the bass not even quarter way, hence the 4 star. Overall, after having this for over a year it is a good speaker for the money and it’s inputs are very useful. I am going to buy a second one soon to complete my rig and not worry about the volume for any venue or outdoor gigs as 1 is good enough but 2 will fill the room more 🙂

Don't trust the positive reviews
These speakers are nowhere near as good as they claim to be.Do not expect to be able to play at 129db. They lack significantly in volume, and begin clipping at anything close to the level they would need to be for most FOH applications.Even using a pair of them in a tiny basement, they didn't fill the room with sound as expected.Their price point is fairly cheap, but not exceptionally so - and this is no excuse for not performing at the level they claim. At the same price point, they are completely outperformed by 12 inch options from recognised brands such as Behringer, Alto etc.

Bass frequencies
Very good piece of kit but playing my mini disk backing tracks I find that the bass overpowers the higher frequencies no matter how I EQ the tracks. Otherwise a very good quality buy with excellent delivery **

Sound ok but you cannot push them
I bought these from the main dealer thinking they were going to be the absolute for my DJ but unfortunately like everybody else has said as soon as you turn up the bass you come into some problems so now I have had to go and buy a sub have not tried it with it but we'll update once I do it's such a shame because for extra maybe one to 200 pounds could get something a lot better

Turn the bass right down!
These speakers aren't as good as the reviews claim. However they can be used with a few changes, and with a decent sub or two they aren't the worst.Turn the bass down on them to a quarter and run some subs alongside them and they sound half decent in a medium sized hall. But put the bass above that and they will clip and distort.Make sure you're not red-lining on your mixer or controller top and they will sound better. For the money they're alright for the odd gig or party (indoor) but if you're thinking of an investment, spend some more and get something that can handle the bass more cleanly.

Not 100 Watts as stated
These speakers are not 1000 watts power. If you know your speakers like I do the 1000 watts rating is the peak rating. Peak = extremely short bursts before you blow them.In reality they are 250 watts continuous running, 500 watts program and 1000 watts peak.I purchased a totally different set of speakers within 1 day of owning a set of these. They lack bass plus also distort very quickly when pushed to get a decent volume out of them.Vonyx are in fact rebranded Soundlab speakers. They are at the bottom end of the market. These speakers should only be used for bedroom DSJ's.Save yourself the headache and avoid these, get yourself a decent set.

Vonxy vsa 15a
They do have there issues and they are great when they want to work properly. 1 of the issues are that they tend to have issues when they want to be I.e is that one can be louder than the others causing me to turn one up to compensate the loss of sound output. The 2nd issues is that it needs a new design in drivers this is because the amp tends to clip to easily and this may cause the woofer and tweeter to fail over time hence the reason why I gave if a 3 star review
