I needed a small table and chairs for my front porch and was reluctant to purchase this set but did it anyway do to the value. I am so pleased I went with it. Is it the best made set available? Well probably not because it's wood and only $85 lol. Is it suitable for my purpose? Absolutely. It did however come with a small crack in the side of the tabletop but nothing some wood glue and a clamp can't fix. Chairs seem sturdy enough to hold me comfortably and I'm not as small as I used to be lol. All in all I'm very happy with my no assembly required purchase. Just wish it had been packaged a little better to prevent the crack in the table top

I have a very small deck. This works well for me. I put hooks on the wall and when not in use, I hang them up out of the weather. Eventually I will need to use a paste wax as the wood is just stained.

We are 2 years or so into using this set, and have noticed the wood stain deteriorate over time, to the point where when anyone sits on it they get a brown wood stain residue on their clothing. Why wouldn't they apply a simple varnish to it? I am considering sealing it myself or just painting over the stain, but that's a hassle that requires dragging them off to my dad's shop, as we don't have a workspace for that.It's not that comfortable for longer use, but nice for a couple hours at a time on the balcony. We have an exceptionally small balcony so this was the only thing I found that could fit it. My hubby at 175ish lbs hasn't broken a chair yet.

Yes, have a beer! That's what I planned for occasional use of this Living Accents Wooden Bistro Set on my balcony. I have now done so, and can report: the beer was more robust than the bistro set is, and not so overpriced, either.Two things about this bistro set appealed to me: the price, for "solid" wood, and the smallish circumference of the table (22 inches). Those factors made it seem to fit both my spacious-but-narrow balcony and my ample-but-not-limitless budget.The set arrived prior to its due date, snugly and firmly packaged. Let me make one thing absolutely clear: NO ASSEMBLY is required. All you have to do is unfold the individual pieces, which are shipped folded flat. You'll want scissors to cut away the plastic shipping straps, is all.The "solid" wood part is true, but a glance at the item photo shows what you actually get: latticed pieces. They're good, they're solid wood, but they are not sturdy as Gibraltar. The chairs in particular seem not flimsy but frail. They hold my 150 lb. securely enough, but still seem so delicate that I feel I should be gentle when sitting down. The smallish circumference of the table is a plus if you have space restrictions, as I did.So far, I'd be giving it four stars. The rest of the packaging is where it lost one. A costly one. $24 worth of costly.As I sat on my balcony, enjoying my Kronenbourg, I read the included "Care & Maintenance" tag. You should wipe the pieces clean with a dry cloth before each use, it says; yeah right, like that's gonna happen. And form-fitted seasonal tarp covers, and other accessories, are available from A** H***w***. Yes, the tag specifically mentioned a specific chain of hardware and home-improvement stores, the one with the "helpful hardware man," the one fat bozo John Madden used to do TV ads for, that chain, that specific one.Curious, I looked at their website, which notes they offer free ship-to-store (they have a store four blocks from my house). And what do you think I found listed on that store's website, for $24 less than Amazon? "Living Accents Wooden Bistro Set 22" D X 29" H Hardwood," that's what.I'm happy with the set, which is ideal if you have space constraints and aren't too heavyset. But I'm not real happy with my purchase on Amazon. In fact, I'm kinda annoyed about that part. Maybe another beer will soothe me.

For the price I thought this was a pretty decent buy. Also, I didn't want to bother with a lot of assembling work. That was a key reason for me to choose this over others.. Absolutely no assembling required!The chairs did feel a bit light in weight but still sturdy enough for me. They are also more comfortable than I thought. I've sat on it for couple of hours at a time and still felt quite comfy.The wood didn't come with any finish (not that I had expected it). So I put a coat of teak oil on it myself. That's made it looking better. Should also help it last longer.I have a small patio. So I had to go with a space-saving set like this.The table top is not big or comfortable enough for two to eat. OK to put a couple of coffee mugs and maybe a small plate. I mostly use it to work on my patio with my laptop or as a coffee table to read.

This is just what we were looking for. We have a small concrete patio behind our townhouse and this is the perfect size. The chairs are sturdy (I'm about 180 lbs and am not known for sitting gently on things and I've had no problems) and the design on the top of the table looks really nice. I was a little worried about the top of the table - the pieces seemed a little things and I didn't know how they would hold up ... but the set handled it's first weekend of storms really well and took on its first South Dakota hail storm like a champ. For this price you won't find anything better!

I love this little table and chair set! I am so glad I bought it despite all of the negative reviews. It is super cute and perfect for a small space. It comes assembled so bonus points for not having to put it together!! I think the quality is great for what it is. Plus it's way cheaper from this seller than from other places. World market sells almost the exact same set for over $300.

Overall I am happy with this set. It's pretty lightweight for what it is, looks really nice, has a clear protective coat on it, and is reasonably comfortable. Although the set was already assembled, most of the screw were loose and needed to be tightened. The other problem that I ran into was the chair creek.....a lot. The good news is I has able to fix the problem with a small piece of adhesive felt (such as the kind you would put on the bottom of a chair to keep it from scratching the floor) to two of the supports on each chair. This seems to have take care of the problem.
