## Description

WoodyKnows Side-Sleeping Backpack, Sleep Position Support, Comfortable Back Support for Side Sleeping (Small 1 Pack) : desertcart.co.uk: Business, Industry & Science

Review: I think this device is helpful for positional sleep apnoea - I have had OSA for years. So I bought this decvice and used it for the first time last night. I genuinely found it gave me confidence that I would sleep better. Although it felt a bit unusual and slightly uncomfortable for the first 10 minutes, it was easy to get used to. When I woke through the night the night, I took it off but found it was easy to put on just with the shoulder straps and it was still effective. I had my doubts about this but I’m pretty sure now that my sleep Naya is positional. The results of the blood saturation on Fitbit indicate for fewer spikes in a more consistent oxygen level
Review: Works very well and is comfy - Really pleased with my backpack. Very comfortable, I’m not really aware of it during the night. Does stop me rolling onto my back without waking me. Only issue is blow up ‘bladder’ does start to deflate. Hence 4 not 5 stars.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone had problems with outgassing and a terrible smell?**
A: Yes, smells like a new tire. I have washed it 4 times but it's still to strong of an odor to try and sleep with. I'll be putting it in my 3 season porch for a few months I guess and see if it will eventually finish off gassing. Other than that I think it works as intended.

**Q: Are there two airbags included?**
A: No, just one airbag. It is extremely strong and sturdy with very thick gauge plastic. Seems very durable, unlikely to break or tear if left zipped inside. Air stays inside with great seal on the inflation opening. do not know the maximum weight it could bear. I am 145 lbs. The company selling was EXTREMELY helpful and responsive to me , and is directly in touch with their manufacturer. If for some reason you would need 2, you should message them to ask.

**Q: Can I just order the backpack?**
A: yes, order and try the fit, a slim line fit belt will help tremendously!
Hint: secure below the air bag device.

**Q: My backpack has a slow leak now after forgetting to deflate it for travel in a tight suitcase. Can I buy a replacement balloon for it?**
A: Yes, but you need to send a request to the manufacturer for the replacement balloon.

If you have trouble with sleep, there is a good chance that this product will only add to your woes. As soon as I put it on I knew it was not going to help me. It is far too intrusive and far bigger than it needs to be to prevent me sleeping on my back. I tried it on a fairly warm summer evening and it also made me quite hot, which is also very unhelpful. Instead, I bought a vest and my wife sewed a pocket on the back into which we put a tennis ball. This is cool, comfortable and I hardly know I have it on. I quickly got used to it and it also does the job perfectly of preventing me turning onto my back. I realise from the reviews that some people have found the Woody-knows backpack to work for them and that's great but it really seems to be a case of serious over-kill and at much more cost than necessary for most.
