American DJ heavy duty mirror ball motor 3rpm for up to a 12" mirror ball and under

I decided to build a small disco for my kids last winter. Every Saturday night they have friends come over and this added a whole new dimention to our family fun times. Here is a list of what I bought from Amazon. All of this is still in perfect working order after almost a year of use. The moror is soundless and spins at the perfect speed. The strobes work well and will cause the required "where am I" feeling if left on too long. The Black light is strong enough to make anything 20 feet away glow brightly. I placed the spot lights approximatle 2 feet to each side, with tthe color gel caps. The mini strobes are placed about 1 foot behind those. I put the Black light on the wall and ran all the cords to the wall mounted Power switcher so we can controll all of these with a flip of a switch. Mounted this boad accross my rafters with hole drilled into board so the cords could pass through and be hidden. I am not a DJ nor do I know what is better or best. I can tell you that we are happy with all these items and when kids come over they squeel with delight. Cant ask for more at this price. My 5 kids are extremely happy and really enjoy dancing every week. Next year I want to conver our travel trailer so we can take the disco on the road !

This motor works fine. The gears lock when powered off, so your mirror ball doesn't free spin. I ran it for 3 hours straight so far with no issues. It comes with a split ring for mounting your mirror ball. ** FYI: This is not a slow motor for large rooms. In a small room it will be slow, but from over 15 ft away, the beams will move pretty fast. There are faster and slower models.

So I bought the spinner I bought the disco ball and it works good not too fast not too slow. We could definitely couple skate though for sure. But I took my spinner and I hung a selfie stick off of it put my phone on it and made some rad videos spinning around slowly lazily calmly and it worked like a charm the speed is good. Just a thought for you Artists out there...

Product served is purpose for a show and worked every performance. Motor felt well made and heavy unlike a couple motors I bought previously that felt like they would break between my thumb and index finger. Good buy, good price!

Needed a motor to rotate a mobile for art class. This motor does the job perfectly. It is intended to be mounted on the ceiling, so there isn't an on/off switch. Mine is mounted on a base for table-top use, so I simply added an on/off switch in line. The unit is quiet and rotates at a good speed.

Surprisingly smooth high-quality motor in this, I didn't expect to love it as much as I did, it was a general product that I needed and wasn't particularly excited to get like most amazon packages but it worked so well I had to put a review in.

Motor is solid and well built, but not just for disco balls! I got this to use as a low speed driver for other projects, and it can be easily adapted to Halloween and other Holiday special effects. It has good torque, and will work quite well for a large crank ghost or other animated prop, and with a motion sensing outlet, it can be rigged to only start moving when someone comes into a specific area of your haunt for great effect.

Tried to make my own disco ball motor from various electrical motors but could never get the speed slow enough or it would wobble. Never occurred to me that they also should be designed to support a 10lb disco ball. This motor has worked very well. Ball spins at the perfect slow speed and no wobble. Also very silent.

Works great. Had to open it up so that we could drill a hole on the top plate and attach a clamp for the light stand.

Excelente producto de gran calidad y funciona como debería! Los materiales son robustos y se ve que aguanta el uso continuo. Tiene la velocidad de 3rpm lo cual es algo rápida pero se ve bien para una fiesta. Si buscas un efecto mas dramático te recomiendo buscar la de 1rpm.
