Amazing product, works every time! Purchased several years ago. Recently was away from home and had a bad case of hiccups. Tried all the "tricks" and nothing worked, but as soon as I got home used my HiccAway and they were gone in seconds. Purchased another to keep in the car. Love this simple and effective product!!

Saw on Shark Tank and bought it in hopes that it would help with my significant other’s hiccups (his last forever and really hurt him). We have both used the straw, along with our daughter and son, and we have all had success with it. It is terrific! It is also really easy to carry around although I do wish it came with a carrying case/bag. I know that is perhaps an odd comment that I carry this straw around in me 24/7 (lol) but I store mine in my purse and am considering actually getting another one (maybe even more) so that we have them at home and on-the-go for when the hiccups hit (like I said, hiccups are unusually painful for my SO, having this on-hand has proven to be a great relief to him). As mentioned, it would be great if they could actually send it with a pouch to keep it in but for the price and the benefit, this has been amazing and is absolutely worth it. Fyi, I also hear it helps with “cancer hiccups”. I do not know this from personal experience but saw comments on the SubReddit for Shark Tank when I was considering purchasing the product that conveyed how grateful purchasers were to provide a loved one battling cancer with this straw that greatly decreased the time the patient was hiccuping. I thought that was pretty amazing if it could work for people with cancer. Thankfully my wonderful nephew had JUST “beat” cancer before I came across this product but I really wish I had came across this item so much sooner so that I could have purchased it for him since, when I asked him if “cancer hiccups” were a “thing” (not trying to be rude, you hopefully understand what I mean as he did), he confirmed that these dreadful nuisances were absolutely real. Apparently they had actually caused him a lot of additional discomfort and so I really wish I’d known to get them but I will from now on and hopefully these straws will somehow become mainstream in hospitals and related fields. We are still amazed every time it promptly “cures” the hiccups. My SO has tried so many different remedies (granted, I’m not sure he’s ever found another product that claimed to do what this one does so I think it’s just been stuff he found online to try when hiccups hit him) and this is the only thing that has worked. The fact that I’m writing a long review means that it impacted us, positively in this case, enough that I felt I needed to share our experiences with those considering because it has just been such a huge help to us. I recommend this to anyone who is seeking relief and hasn’t gotten results elsewhere. IMO, this is actually a super cheap price to pay for the great value it provides in taking away discomfort consistently. Actually works! I bought this for my husband and he was skeptical. He gets hiccups several times a week and has always said he’d get a vaccine to prevent hiccups if there was one. I bought this straw on a whim and it’s a go to. It works every time!

This actually works. If you get hiccups often then it is worth the purchase. Has worked every time.

SCAM. It literally does not work. I was so excited to have my husband try this and it was an absolute waste after multiple tires. Save your money. Don’t purchase this waste of plastic. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I’m not sure if it was because of the straw or just from drinking water in general. The design is clever and it’s easy to use, clean, and store. It’s a fun and innovative idea, and maybe it really does work, but I can’t say with 100% certainty that it made the difference. Still, I think it’s worth having on hand just in case!

OMG! AMAZING! I seriously hate getting the hiccups because I can’t ever get rid of them. I’ve tried all the tricks everyone has said, and they never work for me. Three consecutive sips on this straw and my hiccups were magically gone. I don’t know how this works, but I will use this and recommend it forever!

I have had hiccups every day for eight years. My only relief has been when I sleep. The HiccAway does not cure hiccups but it does provide some relief. It is important to drink at least one full glass of water when using the device. In my case, there is a bit of delay before the hiccups actually stop. Good product and good service!

It's completely failed in it's objective of stopping hiccups. I tried many many times as directed. Please don't waste your money
