Work very well.
I have to say I was hopeful but skeptical as to how these would work. Well I am no longer skeptical. These traps work very well. For several nights my wife and I sat and watched mice run past the standard traps that we set and this "group" of mice was completely uninterested in our traps and the peanut butter we used to set them. They would not even slow down to investigate them. I decided that it might be worth trying the glue boards as the mice would think they could run right over them. It took 2 days and all 4 boards caught a mouse. They do the job and I am very happy with the results. Now for the "bad". These boards smell to high heaven. When we got them I had the misfortune to breath in as I opened the package and about passed out from the smell, alright it wasn't that bad but it was pretty bad. Secondly I could see where a mouse might be able to get off the board if it only is caught on the edge of the glue. 3 of the 4 I caught were dead center and had no chance of getting off, but the 4th one was more toward the edge and it was wiggling in good shape and if I hadn't been right there I am not sure if he could have gotten away or not. It was still stuck good but part of its body was off the board. Lastly when dealing with the stuck mouse those that are a little squeamish may not appreciate these boards. The mice will wiggle and they stay alive a long time. I ended up turning the boards into "sandwiches", folding them over so the mouse was totally surrounded by the glue. I give the boards 5 stars because they do what they are suppose to do. They managed to catch our family of picky eater mice. They might smell bad and you have to watch the mice wiggle but I can over look that because they get the job done.

Great product for small prey.
This product definitely worked, almost too well. I set the trap on the inside of the garage by the hole I knew the animal was traveling through. A simple tortilla chip was enough to catch the animal the same evening. I caught a larger animal than I expected. Sadly the animal chewed through the trap leaving me to find little bits and pieces of the trap on my property. A while after when I moved my car I noticed that there were bits of the trap underneath the vehicle, so I opened up the hood out of curiosity only to discover that the animal that I had caught with the sticky trap had made a pilgrimage to my engine cover to stay warm as it licked itโs wounds. The result of its extended comfortable stay underneath my hood was that it became glued to my air filter wire harness (with the adhesive from the trap) and decided to bite through the wiring to escape its new prison. Not the fault of the company, but buyer beware know that this trap is probably best for smaller pray like a typical mouse and not what I think was a large rat that could eat its way through an Alcatraz prison bar. I bought two packs so if I use them again I will probably anchor the trap to the ground in someway so that it wonโt be carried away.

Works if you use it right
I don't know what people are complaining about. As long as you place them in places that trafficked by bugs, it will eventually collect spiders and other pests. You just have to wait 1-2 weeks for bugs to cross and get caught. If people are waiting 3+ weeks and there are still no bugs, they're likely either putting the boards in the wrong places (areas where bugs don't frequently cross) or they just don't have a big bug problem. These are dirt cheap, I place them in lots of different areas. I wait a couple weeks, and I see spiders and other pests getting caught. Pretty simple and effective. September 6 EDIT: Just walked by one of these glue boards in my crawl space and saw that it caught a mouse as well. Didn't even know that I had a mouse roaming around. Now I just have to pick up the board, throw it in a bag, and put that bag in the trash.

The Solution!
Stumbled across this product because we were trying to catch a rat. The rat was too large for this product and it didnt work for that. We had no idea we would catch all other types of random insects that would probably otherwise be wondering around our home. We have a small crack in our back door seal. so we sat one by the back door. We've caught spiders, small lizards, other weird looking bugs/tiny beetles, ants. Small insects dont stand a chance. I love this product! I just ordered more to put in our garage. Oh, we dont fold the sheet into the box, we just lay it flat and it works wonders! No bugs!! If the sheet fills up or starts looking creepy, I get my boys (ages 16 and 8) to change it out!

Five mice in 12 hours - Wow!
We have had a mouse problem in the house for over a year and occasionally one our cats would nail one. We finally determined they were coming in from a small crack in the garage and living in the wall behind our dryer. I put one of these down next to the crack and within 12 hours the entire mouse family came out of the wall and was captured. I found the first three early in the morning, dropped them into a box and put down a fresh trap and caught two more. Incredible! Had been using the TOMCAT glue boards in the garage for over a year and only caught one mouse (a lot of bugs though). My advice however is not to tell your daughter you have five live mice in a box. This resulted in a long saga of where and how to release them, get them off of the glue boards, etc. Many tears and you can imagine how this went. Anyway according to my wife and daughter the five mice were alive when finally released albeit with a bit of torn fur and mouse skin, and one of them bit my daughter's finger (wear gloves and use olive oil on the mice after first putting talc on the boards to prevent further mouse parts from sticking to them). Update: A much improved method for removing mice from glue boards is to use paint thinner or turpentine. Point the mouse (glue board) in the direction you want it to run. Slowly pour onto the board over the tail and then ahead of and where the mouse is stuck. The glue melts very quickly and the mouse will run away. No harm to the mouse. Voila!
