K-FLEX USA 3/4" x 6 ft. Elastomeric Pipe Insulation

Good quality, flexible and good adhesion. Easy installation.

Used this to insulate the exposed outdoor portion of the pipe that carries the cooled refrigerant from my AC compressor back to the condenser in the furnace. Excellent, high quality product. Material is a better insulator than others I have tried in the past and the ‘double sealing’ feature provides much better closure and permanent placement. Material is very easy to work with - it’s flexible, cuts and trims well with just scissors. Time will tell how it holds up in the heat and sun but I plan to wrap it with foil/metal ducting tape. Costs a small bit more than others I’ve purchased but it’s definitely worth it. I highly recommend.

Absolutely what I needed to insulate the 3/4" copper line on the outside going to the air conditioner unit. The insulation was mailed promptly and it fit like a glove. Easy to install. I love the adhesive seal on the rubber tube and the adhesive overlay flap is awesome. It replaced a 10 year old insulation tube that had deteriorated and no longer insulated the copper. Just cut to length and slower peal off the adhesive tape a little at a time so as to not have it stick to everything.

Worked great on outside AC copper tubing that was old and cracked. Wrapped easy. Secured with black electrical tape. Sealed at the stucco level. I’m waiting to see if it makes a difference in my electric bill in 90 degree Florida weather.

When you would try to pull the tape away from the adhesive it took foam with it. Did not want to destroy the stuff since I had already cut it. Luckily it was possible to use cable ties, more than one would usually, to hold it together. The foam is of high quality. Mine was delivered in a box marked ZORO. Maybe it was old stock and the adhesive had taken permanent hold? I am reasonably happy with the product.

After 25 years the old insulation on the pipes disintegrated and I needed a replacement. Instead of paying some guy $$ to replace it, I bought this. This did the trick. It sealed nicely, was easy to install and is a good value.

Bought a house with a 2004 a/c that rarely ran given the weather. The lineset foam was ratty and worn you could see lots of bare copper. You can tell why the pro's use this for A/C lines versus just foam pipe insulation. Good stuff. Read the suggestions of other reviewer's as I did. Too bad that you can't find this at the well known local home supply store. I did put HVAC tape on the top where the sun would hit it since it is rated as UV resistant.

Worked out great!
