Work well
These only last a short while after you pop them to mix the ingredients and make them cold, but they get very cold and do what you need them to do. I got them for after my hysterectomy so that if I needed an ice pack in the night I wouldn’t have to get up or wake my husband up to go to the freezer. I just kept the box beside me, and never needed more than 2 in a row. They provide quick relief in a pinch. I still have about half of them left, I keep some at home and some in my car in case of any accidents we may need them for as my boys are quite rowdy and sprain and breaks do definitely happen from time to time. Would recommend for after surgery, or for any home with wild children, or clumsy toddlers, even though my kids are teenagers or grown already. Would even come in handy if you get overheated, which is a real possibility here in East Texas where we get 105-110 actual temp and 115-120 with the heat index a lot of the time in the summer. Just handy to have around in my opinion.

Great value for products
small enough to pack in your bag, great to bring to sports games or hot days to relieve the heat on your neck, they dont last super long being very cold but serve the purpose, i thought the dollars spent for the amount we got was worth the purchase!

Great ice pack without a cooler!
I keep these in my trunk for my 8 year old son - he seems to get hurt during basketball practice a lot! It’s not too bad of an injury, but helps him get back on his feet when he gets ice. I like how it turns cold when you rub it. Very practical for my “sometime” uses.

activation
Found the water bags inside the packets very hard to open by hand but placing them on a hdard surface like a wood or tile floor worked well.

Medpride Instant Cold Pack is Better
These packs are small, and you have to apply much more pressure to activate them. I had one burst in my hands, sending beads all over. I'm going back to the Medpride Instant Cold Packs.

Doesn't last long at all
Keep shopping.... the cold pack only lasts for a minute or two. Can't even get the job done for an injury at the ball field

Perfect cool pack for first aid kit
I really like the size of these cool packs as they fit perfectly in smaller first aid kits you would take on hikes or just in your hand bag. For each pack a cover is provided to protect the skin.
