I bought this just to protect my lenses from scratches and nit expecting a much of uv protection . I gave a 5 star just for quality and packaging i received and I'll use it just like a lens protector. And there was no issue for putting on a lens hood for zoom lens as mentioned i tried it and its working like a charm.
