The needle was super sharp and went right into my nostril with no problems. I iced my nose first and it wasn't as painful as I thought. I did nick the inside of my nose when I went through but that needle is really sharp and I didn't know my own strength. I used the 14 gauge with the small stud and it went through easily. Fits snug.Edit: Just a couple of things to note.1. Go to a professional. But if you're insistent like me, then heed a few things.2. If you do the nasal piercing, don't use the nose screw enclosed. Get one with a larger head or the skin will close up over it. Swelling will pull it in. I adjusted it where the end was sticking out until the swelling went down. Otherwise, I feel like it would have pulled through.2. Use the salt water! 3-4 times a day. Dont use tea tree oil or homemade treatments. I thought that would speed up the healing until I ended up with a huge swollen nose the 3rd day after piercing. It hurt so bad, I wanted to RIP it out. Boiled some water, let it cool, added sea salt without iodine and stuck my nose in it. This is day 5 and swelling and pain are a minimum. Now, I soak a cotton ball in the salt water and just let it rest on the outside and inside of the piercing.3. Dont mess with the piercing. So different from an ear piercing. Don't twist it. Just leave it be. Touch it when you clean it. Again resist the urge to twist.4. Use an antibacterial soap to clean your face or around piercing. I use Clean and Clear. Wash your hands before you start messing with the piercing. And really watch getting makeup, hair spray, lotions, etc... in the piercing.I'll add more tips after more healing time. Just wanted to give a few warnings so you don't have to experience some of the pain I did.

So i bought this kit to pierce my nose I haven't done it but did my tongue...no pain needles are very sharp, my first two times I got it done professionally this third time I thought I'd give it a go. Am happy.***second update soo it's been a little over a week now my tongue is doing great piercing ok but not so good quality so I'll be changing as soon as I get my new tongue barbell it's a bummer I really like this barbell dont known how to describe but bottom ball has this wierd look I thought it was pus leaking from piercing but nope it's fine it's the bottom ball only idk just dont recommend it needles are fine for piercing. other than that my tongue healing good.

Update:Now given myself 3rd earring and septum piercing with this home kit. They’ve all healed beautifully. Saved me lots $$$.It worked just great for Monroe piercing. BUT the needles were way too small for any of the other pieces except maybe the twist in nose ring. I had to use a 14 gauge and slide the piercing thru separately, because the needle was the exact same size as the ring (ring was too big to fit inside needle).

Purchased this set to pierce my septum. Ended up piercing my lip instead. Package came early. Item just as described. I gave it 4 stars because the jewerly didn't match the needle. I pierced my lip with a 16g needle. I had to push the needle at the way thru and then push the jewerly thru. Would of been cool if the jewerly fit the needle so as i pulled the needle out i could pull the jewerly thru as well. That made things a bit difficult but i gotta say i love my new lip ring. Worth the money.

love, used these products to repierce my belly button back when I was 16 and i’m now coming to write a review at 20 that my belly piercing has never looked better. First time i got pierced was at a place at the mall which i regretted. If you’re going to pierce yourself, don’t be stupid. Take a deep breath and make sure you mark and follow your markings. Definitely watch youtube videos of other people to gain insight.

It was perfect! I didn’t even hurt. I was scared to do it myself so I let my sister in law do it cause she has a license to do it. It looks crooked because I’m standing at an angle but I love it. That’s not the ring that can with it cause I left it at home so she let me have one of hers but everything was in the package it was perfect and all so beautiful!!

Well it’s like three months later and myBelly button has not fallen off. I pierced it kind of crooked but I was not worried much and actually like the way it’s looks now that’s it’s semi healed. No irritation or anything with the ring that came with the kit. Piercing myself was kind of hard for me. Now that’s it done I plan to do my own piercings that seem doable at home

Everything came in great condition, pierced my nose and soon will pierce my lip. Love this kit , the jewelry was easy to get it , you can’t slide the jewelry into the needle but it’s not hard or painful to follow it through at all. Will definitely buy again . UPDATE! it’s been bout two weeks and the gem has fallen out of the nose ring 😞 otherwise everything is going great with healing .
