Gulluoglu's famous Turkish Pistachio Baklava 14 pieces (1.1 lb-500gr), daily fresh shipment from Istanbul/Turkey

These are excellent! If you like baklava then I highly recommend these I've ordered twice and plan on getting them again. Well packaged and fresh and just sweet enough.

This is truly outstanding Baklava! Very, very fresh. I ordered it on Oct. 22, it was made on Oct. 23 and I received it on Oct. 25. The Baklava is made in Turkey and ships daily to the U.S. It is made with a sugar/water syrup like it should be, not taking the lazy way and using honey which makes it too sweet. I made Baklava a lot when I was younger, and this is much better than mine! My first visit to Istanbul was when I was 7 (my father was stationed in Sofia and we would take mini breaks and drive to Istanbul to get out from under the Iron Curtain). My family lived in Ankara for 3 years. I lived in Jerusalem for 2 years, and Damascus for 4. All of that was to say that I have eaten a lot of Baklava in my 65 years, and know when it is good and when it is not. I thought the packaging was excellent. The baklava itself is in a plastic container which was sealed so tightly that there was no way to open it without the aid of scissors. It is in a fun presentation package with pictures of Turkey and 4 of the 6 generations of the family who have been making this tasty treat-for over 150 years. I don’t think they would have made it past the first generation if they weren’t doing something right. I feel sorry for the reviewers who wouldn’t even taste it because some of the layers shifted in shipping. That happens with home made, and I just restack the layer. Baklava runs $5-10 a slice in a restaurant and isn’t as good, I consider this excellent value for the price. The box lists the ingredients: Sugar, flour, butter, water, pistachio, starch, egg, salt, lemon juice and citric acid. All natural ingredients. Baklava has a fairly long shelf life just being pastry and nuts so take your time indulging in this yummy desert!

This is a great product it is the real deal. Not too sweet just right not too sticky and syrupy either. Again just right the real deal real authentic Turkish baklava straight from Turkey where else company sent me a nice letter address to me personally along with pictures of four generations of the family they didn't have pictures going back any further. They're probably weren't pictures that far back. The company made it a personal deal addressed to me and that was makes you feel good when somebody does that in addition they sent me a nice small package of Turkish delight in four different varieties. Free of charge it was all included in the price no extra charge. They did not have to do that but it was nice that they did I would have been satisfied with it the way it was. I had my own business Painting and Restoring Homes for nearly 40 years until I broke my back in for places when I fell from a 24-foot ladder. I always gave the customer everything I said I would plus a little bit more and they always came back every time they needed some work done. I was strictly word of Mouth. They recommended me to their friends one man even put me in their neighborhood newsletter. I can tell you when somebody gives you your money's worth plus a little extra it makes you want to go back and I will be back for more. Can't say enough good about these people they made me feel like I was part of their family. Thank you to everyone involved in making this product and the people who took the time to send me a handwritten letter plus a little bit extra product for free in the form of Tucker's delight something I have never tried before but it is very good. I have not tried everything from this company but I don't think they make anything but I wouldn't like. The only thing I say is I wish they would have larger boxes say three or six pound boxes. They do sell multiples of the same size box but it would be nice to get larger boxes especially with the variety pack that like they have to be able to buy at least a 1 kilo box preferably a 3 or 5 kilo box. The one I purchased was a 1/2 kilo box. It had 14 pieces in it and somehow 6 pieces seem to have disappeared within a few hours of opening the box and I enjoyed every Damn one of them!! I could have easily sat there and eaten the whole box along with another box just like it in one setting they are that good. I opened the box telling myself I was only going to eat one piece. After that I said boy that was good I'll just eat one more finally got ate a third piece then I put them in the refrigerator but they kept calling me because the refrigerator is way too close to my chair... OMG!! SO VERY YUMMY!!! I just received my order and will be ordering more. Fast delivery, so very fresh. You cannot go wrong! Absolutely delicious. Better than my family members made for holidays.

Packaging was a little weird. But the taste was pretty good.

This baklava is perfect. Perfect amount of moisture, perfect texture and tastes fresh. I saw a review that posted a video of the baklava layers sticking to the top clear film of the container. If you're going to order baklava online that is the nature of the structure of baklava some of the top layer is going to come off And will be on the top clear film of the container. The structure is still intact and you can always put a layer back together if it falls off it's by no means falling apart everywhere to the point that you can't eat it so I hope nobody lets those reviews get in their way of ordering. I've ordered twice and I appreciate the consistency so far in the taste structure and quality.

Es wurde sehr schnell geliefert. Sehr guter Geschmack wie in der Türkei . Es war sehr gut verpackt und frisch . Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

È vera baklava, quella con miele, è arrivata direttamente dalla Turchia. È buonissimo, quanto mi piace. Non vedo l'ora di poter ordinare ancora.

Top. Schnelle Lieferung. Gute Qualität. Leider musste ich 4 Wochen warten weil das Paket beim Zoll nicht richtig deklariert wurde. Wer Schuld daran war keine Ahnung. UPS wollte mir über 100 Euro Lagerkosten verrechnen. Keine Bestellungen mehr aus einem Nicht EU-Land.

I loved this! Lovely and moist. It arrived safely and on time and in an attractive, airtight box, with original photos of the family company. They also sent a free gift of Turkish Delight and a letter from the Sales Manager. I was thrilled. My sister lived in Istanbul for 5 years and I visited her several times, and tasting the Baklava brought back some very happy memories! Merci!!
