Tonies Simba Audio Toy Figurine from Disney's The Lion King

One of our favorite Tonies. Songs are directly from the movie and the story narration was spot on.

My 4 year old absolutely loves this Tonie box character. The sound quality is amazing. It starts with the iconic music from the Lion King. She puts it on by herself almost every night. I highly recommend this for kids who love the lion King.

I got this for my daughter who lost her father because she seems to really enjoy the lion king story. I was worried because several reviews have stated that the songs are terrible because they are not the original. They aren’t the original but honestly they’re pretty close. They’re not bad at all. I would definitely recommend I do believe that the story is the original cast. This one is very good and does not annoy me at all I enjoy listening to it as well

Great pre-reading tool to prepare little ones in reading readiness. My grandson is a young 5 years old and plays his Tonies while he plays with his toys. We gave rhis to him as an early Christmas present intending to give it him Christmas Day along with his other gifts. He was sick with the flu for four days so we gave it to him early. Our daughter told us he played it multiple times each day. As a retired elementary school principal and certified to teach early childhood classes, in my professional opinion I believe it to be a wonderful way to introduce little ones to literature. I highly recommend it.

Great songs and story!

Pretty nostalgic! It’s not the cast from the animated movie- I think it’s more along the broadway side. But it’s great. My kid loves listening to it even though he’s never seen the movie lol.

It’s definitely not the original artists singing the songs, but all songs are sung exactly as it is in the original movie. I purchased this for the little boy I nanny (newly 2yo) who had recently watched lion king for his first time. He’s been so obsessed with “I just can’t wait to be king” & loves simba so much I’m able to convince him to eat all his veggies or try new things to be brave or be strong for Simba. He absolutely loves this tonie, it’s been playing since I brought it to him. It played the 4 most popular songs & even told the story of lion king at the end. The story, I was most impressed with but as a 2yo boy who has been stuck inside due to the winter storm.. it’s hard to just listen to a story but as a story book lover, I’m sure he’ll grow to understand the story telling & love it.

I was quite disappointed with this Simba Tonie. No matter how much I increase the volume, the audio remains very low and is barely audible. In comparison to other Tonies I own, this seems to be the only one with this issue. I expected the same quality as the others, so this was quite frustrating. I would appreciate any insights on whether this is a defect or a common issue.
