Great for headphone cable mod.
Have an old pair of Akai ASE-22 headphones that sound great, but the cable between the ear cups had developed a short. Didn’t have a thin enough socket to take the headband apart, so I figured I would take a crack at doing a removable cable mod. These two-pole 1/8 TRS jacks took solder easily, and were just long enough to pass through the outer body of the headphones. Retention of the cables is excellent and I have had zero connection issues. Very pleased with the results of my little project and the performance of the product. Now I have eight more to figure out what to do with lol.

Perfect for 3d printed projects
I use these sodered to piezo disks for 3d printed instruments, and have been perfectly happy with the results.

These jacks are credible copies of the Switchcraft Tini-Plug at a huge discount. So far, so good.
These jacks are cost-reduced versions of the venerable Switchcraft Tini-Plug. It is a credible copy with thinner metal. I used my first one as a repair part for a guitar accessory. I cycled the connector 20 times and it still works. I won't know if the tip connector will lose its springiness or of if the plating will peel off after a lot of cycles. And, I will probably will never know. You can't beat the price. 80% less that the Switchcraft part.

Complete Garbage
Not one out of the ten worked!! Of that ten, only two were usable and they both failed the first time a plug was inserted. The metal quality is inferior and as soon as an 1/8 " plug is inserted the contact arm takes on a "set". It does not return to its original position thus the internal speaker will not work. The jack is supposed to be a switch, but the switch arm is made of such poor quality metal that it will take a "set" as soon as a 1/8" plug is inserted rendering the jack worthless. I called Amazon and they refunded my purchase price. Ended up ordering an Amphenol jack through Mauser.

Cheap.
Very flimsy. Hardly any thread space, if you’re mounting in anything other than super thin material. A wad a good thing it was a bag of 10, cause I bent 2 of them trying to install them.

Switch doesn't work reliably
Yeah, I didn't really expect much, but this product still manages to disappoint. As someone else had mentioned, the "switch" function...doesn't reliably work. Kind of a basic thing you need to get right when making a switching jack, you'd think. Not springy enough or something. Also, soldering to the material was more difficult that it should have been...had trouble getting the solder to flow onto the metal

Exactly what I needed
Worked great for my application as a interface between a Qbot and sewing machine controller.
