I work for a small business that maintains and repairs pipe organs. This tool helps us quickly measure the diameter of pipes when we are making a support rack for taller pipes and is especially helpful for pipes that are tapered because we can determine the diameter at any height of the pipe. I chose the set of three plastic ones because the metal one has the potential of scratching the delicate pipes and so that everyone on our team can carry one with them to the job site. I have found the tool easy to use and accurate in its measuring. A very clever invention!

Love this pipe caliper tool. A bit flimsy, don't expect to one hand measure easily, but I prefer this lightweight, flexible tool over a metal type that stabs you in the back type of tool.

This a great thing to have on your field bag if you do field surveys or as built drawings. So easy to slide this up against a pipe and know the iron pipe size. Also you can slip the end in an insulation seam for a thickness.

Very handy tool for my estimators and techs to get piping sizes accurately.

Works good but made of super thin plastic. If you're going to be anywhere outside of a shop spend the extra $ and get the metal 1s
