Get It And You'll Love It Too!
This bowl holds a whole can of Progresso soup but can be used for heating anything. I like it that it's durable for freezer and fridge use for leftovers. The handle is handy and cool to the touch after heating. The bowl is very useful & the steam vent is a great invention to avoid overheating run overs in microwave. Get it and you'll love it too.

I really love the Sistema Klipit family of plates
I really love the Sistema Klipit family of plates, cups and bowls. I purchased the Sistema Noodle Bowl almost a year ago. I used it for oatmeal, soups and reheating of stews and casseroles, but if it was in the fridge for the next day's lunch I was out of luck to using it. I am a klutz and forever dropping things and I really hate it when stuff boils over or splatters all over the microwave. I had a knee replacement that failed and blew my leg open from the knee to just above the top of my foot. Thanks to medics and helicopter staff taking me quickly to the Medical Center I had my surgeries in, an fantastic surgeons who not only saved my life, they saved my leg too. Due to some weakness I use a rollator for balance and can put my meals on a tray and wheel them from the kitchen to the living room when I am alone (my husband died unexpectedly three days after my leg blew). I love using this for oatmeal or grits for winter breakfast and cold cereals for summer. I love the strong clips that keep the lid on firmly and the steam vent that you leave open when cooking to release the steam. I can then close the vent do that on the very rare occasion when I drop it, or it falls off the table, I don't have to clean the light beige carpeting. The oatmeal comes out fine with no boil overs. This can be used to heat up other food like vegetables, pasta, or stews or casserole leftovers. Any of the different pieces can be used for multi purposes. These are made in New Zealand with safe plastics. They are very well made and I have never had a problem with any of them. I have purchased the Medium Plate, the Noodle Bowl, the soup cup and this Oats To Go Bowl. There is only one problem and it isn't even the kind of problem that would require the loss of any stars, is that with many of the sellers, you cannot pick the color. You get whatever color that they sent you. As a result I have red in plate and soup cup, purple in the noodle bowl and bright blue in this bowl. It isn't a really big deal because all the colors are fine so you really can't go wrong. I only mention it because some people want everything to match so you might have to shop around to find sellers who will let you choose. If there are any unforseeable problems that occur, I will come in to update this review

Good buy
Love these microwave bowls. They do exactly what they need to. The lid vents steam and kerps foot from splattering in the microwave.

Allllmost perfect โฆ.
I ordered two for teacher lunches. Pros: BEAUTIFUL colors. Doesnโt discolor or disfigure in the microwave or dishwasher, even with tomato sauce. Great size for generous helpings and even warming (which is why I chose these over the soup mugs). Sturdy locks and vent cover. Cons: not absolutely leakproof. They tipped slightly in my teacher bag when I set it down for about three minutes, and I came back to find my chili was seeping out into my bag. Definitely shouldnโt use for a thinner soup unless you plan for cleanup. For the price per unit, I really expected a closer seal than that!!

Tips so this (or any) bowl won't explode in microwave
First, I REALLY want to buy several more of these, but no longer available? All they have a larger containers, and this truly is great for oatmeal, heating rice and beans, veggies, etc. Next, never ever never pay attention to directions when it comes to microwaves. Next, don't use a lot of water!!! Just enough to get it going. Then add more water later. Read on ... Do not set it for 3 or 4 minutes! Oatmeal takes time to absorb the water. Too quickly and yes, it explodes all over your microwave. Simply set it for a minute! Then add water, cook more, stir, let it sit and absorb more water and finish cooking, depending upon YOUR tastes. If you add frozen fruit, depending how long the fruit takes to warm up, add at start or when adding more water after first one minute heating. REMOVE the little tab for the vent when cleaning! Yes, impossible to clean with it in place. Carefully pop it off, wash, dry, then pop back on. If it explodes and makes a mess cos you followed their directions and not my tips. I buy oats from Amazon. By following the above directions, oatmeal cooks fine in 2 minutes in MY microwave. AND the first product I tried was their tall, narrow bowl. THAT was problematic cos it doesn't appear to heat as evenly for cooking oatmeal as this much wider bowl. The others are too big! I bought to cook potatoes and other larger veggies. Those work fine. PLEASE offer this again! I want several cos this truly is my fave piece of kitchen gear!

Great bowl for oatmeal. . . .
I got this bowl the other day but since I eat oatmeal about 3 or 4 times a week, today was the first time I used it. Great bowl. I used it in my microwave to cook my morning oatmeal and it did a great job. Great size for my morning oatmeal since I normally cook 2 packets of instant oatmeal at a time. Then I add butter and fruit after the oatmeal is cooked. Stir it together and I'm normally set until dinner since breakfast is a late morning meal for me and I only eat 2 meals a day. I need to wash it still but it looks like a quick hand washing will do the job. My only complaint is that I can't use three fingers in the cup handle to pick it up. Most of my coffee mugs allow me to use 3 fingers in the handle but if this oatmeal cup works as well as I expect then it's a 5 star product that I highly recommend.

Perfect ramen/noodle/soup/cereal bowl.
A few times a week I like to make instant vegan ramen for lunch and throw in a bunch of veggies in with it, and this bowl is PERFECT for that. I throw everything into it, clip on the top, microwave for a few minutes (it's an extra large cup so that when the water in the ramen boils, it doesn't boil over) and then let the bowl sit for a few minutes, and I get perfection. The bowl doesn't get hot, the seal is mostly air-tight so the noodles can rest in the boiling water and the heat doesn't seep out, and it's so large that you can make a regular cup of ramen plus add ingredients and still have room to stir and carry it to where you are sitting and eat it. My only little tiny criticism is that where the top clips on is a raised rim around the edge of the bowl, so if you make hot beverages or broth in this, it doesn't function as a mug. It's a pain to sip around the rim. I wish they had just put the ridges on parts of the bowl's edge, so that there were smooth areas to sip from. But other than that, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect Oatmeal Every Time
Oatmeal boils over in the microwave because the starches in the oats swell and thicken the liquid into a gel that traps steam bubbles, which then build pressure and erupt. To solve this problem, I mix one cup of oatmeal and one cup of water in the evening and stir. The liquid is absorbed into the oats over night. In the morning, I stir again and put the cup and mix in the microwave for one to two minutes and cook for perfect oatmeal every time.

Best buy this year. Will buy more from them.
In use every day. I mix eggs/small batch pancake mix in them. I heat food in them. I store leftovers in them. Use them as a soup bowl, a cereal bowl, for pasta or casserole food. Easy to hold off my chest if the food I'm lounging whilst eating is a little too hot. Love them! Lightweight, sturdy. Very good quality. Still shiny several months in use.

Sistema - great quality and value for money
I currently have the soup mugs which I think are great, so thought I would try the breakfast bowl for my porridge. Works really well. Very good value for money and handy as they just pop in the dishwasher. Would recommend.

Love it
Very easy to clean. Good size for cerals or soup. You can use it in microwave. Smal valve in the cover. You can use it in dishwasher but i never do that. Watch out with warming up fatty things in it or washing fat of in dishwasher . Can get stained. Better wash it with hand. Cover when on is not leak proof like other smaller bowls from this company.
