Good reliable system
This is my 3rd Honeywell system. The first was installed by a security company. The other 2 were self-installed. This thing is easy to program. I installed the cellular component. It took my remote monitoring company a while to recognize it, but we were successful. I never have installed Z-wave but it is something I would consider. I’ve had this particular panel for about 3 years. It functions great. I have not had to replace the battery but expect to need that soon.I only upgraded to this because a lightning strike took out my previous system. I don’t expect to need to upgrade again anytime soon unless I get hit again. This is a solid, easily adaptable system. I’d buy it again or recommend to nearly anyone.

Easily installed, zwave module and wifi module is a breeze to install. All around it is very easy to program and sync the 5800Micra's and three IR sensors. Programming mode for zwave was very easy. Nice feature to have.

Great device, need patience to program, solid.
First, bought through Smart Home Direct fulfilled by amazon, and they were terrific. Price was better than fair and when I called customer service prior to placing the order they answered phone quickly, were knowledgable, professional and friendly. So kudos to them.I'm a fan of honeywell products but they can be a bit of a challenge to program. Definitely need patients and in all fairness the monitoring company had to help me with activating the gsm module, but that is to be expected since it needs to be registered with them. Only have it for a day, installed and programmed zones. So far so good. Appears to be another well made quality product from honeywell.Lot of options to learn, but basic zone registering was pretty straightforward and alarm is working and doing as it should. There are alot of advanced options to learn if so desired, so, although it can be intimidating, you don't have to even go into it that much to get the basic functionality.I didn't give 5 stars because of the level of difficulty, but it is a solid 4 star product.

Exactly what we needed.

Works as designed
Set up quickly and works perfectly. I noticed that it does not display the cellular signal strength as my earlier Lynx 5000 did. Other than that, plug and play!

L5210 reboots on AC loss (power outage)
I received two L5210 units. Both units would reboot a few minutes after AC loss (power outage). While the unit is rebooting (which takes about a minute), the premise is unprotected because the system will not be communicating with the sensors (motion, contact, temperature, etc.).On a hunch I bought a L5100-WIFI and plugged it into the system. Guess what? The rebooting problem seems to go away.My hunch is that upon AC loss, the Lynx Touch L5210 would try to communicate to Central Office. Since there are no communication channel, the L5210 reboots to reset its peripherals thinking that the communicator needs a reboot. With the L5100-WIFI installed, the L5210 would sense that there's a communication channel through the L5100-WIFI, so would not reboot to reset. Do you get me? Anyway, problem solved.Without this problem, I would give the L5210 five stars.
