it crushes nothing!! that's about all I will say, you can keep turning the top but if there is nothing sharp in this device to crush the garlic, you are simply rubbing the garlic between two plastic parts. Ridiculous claim on garlic crushing ability, simply is not a garlic or ginger crusher or press. DO NOT BUY!!

Not easy to use

It smashes and does not push the garlic through to the catch container. It shreds it and does not "press" it. Also very hard to clean.
