Perfect and accurate way to dose nano reef tank
I have been using a regular plastic syringes to withdraw multiple solutions to use on my nano reef tank, from liquid nutrients to water samples for testing and it's always a circus to hold on one hand the bottle and try with the free one to draw up the liquids, usually you draw more that is needed and its hard to quantify how much is or you end a little bit short and then pull a little more and now you are over, etc... I decided that it was time to retire half of the little syringes and get a variable volume pipette, I'm really satisfied and happy with the performance and accuracy level of the Four E's pipette (1-10ml version). While it's kind of on the big side compared to what I was using before its super light weight and fits really nice on my hand so now I just need one thumb to press to withdraw and press to release! No more guessing, adjusting the volume of liquid withdraw is super easy, slowly turn the push button to adjust the volume based on the reading on the display and once is set you are good to go, to be sure how accurate is the pipette I draw up 5ml of water and filled a graded syringe to compare... Boom! right on the 5ml line.Super simple to put and remove plastic tips simplify my whole set of tools, instead of one syringe to measure each solution used, now I just have a few plastic tips of the same size that can be cleaned and reused if is safe or discarded if needed. (A small mark made on the plastic with a oil based sharpie works as a good way to ID for what is each tip is used to avoid contamination and terrible mistakes).I will recommend this tool to anyone who need a fast and easy way to dispense solutions on a consistent way without breaking the bank!!

Good customer service, fine for student use
(See update bellow) I purchased a few different Four E pipette volumes. Using the Four-E tips and priming the tip before transfer, I don't get any leakage. This is not ISO certified (at this price I wouldn't expect that). It is fine for teaching purposes, or for tasks where perfect precision is not absolutely critical (like transferring samples to autosampler vials where exact measurements aren't that important). That said, pipetting accuracy is within tolerances when I tested the pipettes out-of the box with the provided tips. There is inconsistency between models. The 1ml-10ml and the 100ul-1000ul models I purchased are very solid, have tip filters, and clean plastic with dark blue grip pieces. The 0.5ul-10ul and the 1ml-5ml pipettes are lighter, have a different color blue trim, have injection mold artifacts, and a slightly 'floppy' volume dial, and no tip filter. It is like they came from two different factories and slightly different specs. Even the apparent 'lower quality' models seem accurate out of the box, but the 1ml-5ml leaks when using universal tips and at higher volumes the selector can sometimes click up a volume if I am not careful when depressing the plunger. Furthermore, the first stop on these is a bit 'spongy'. Still, all of the pipettes work fine as long as you are careful, precise, and are okay with using Four-E's slightly more expensive tips. If you can spare a bit more money, I would recommend getting refurbished pipettes from a certified retailer of a better brand, but these are okay for students.UPDATE: I have added another star as the seller has contacted me and given me two (!) replacements each of both the 10ul and 5ml pipettes (that is four pipettes in total). These are all in similar packaging and look to be direct from the factory (It seems like some of the units originally sent may have been repackaged for some reason). Unfortunately, 3 of the 4 replacements still have a 'loose' dial that will rotate when using the pipette sometimes. These pipettes are usable and seem to have relatively good seals but the quality still isn't that great and it is extremely annoying to have to constantly reset the volume. At this price point I suppose I ought to be happy the pipettes work in any capacity at all and that the customer service is very good. These are good student pipettes, but for professional use I still think it is worth the money to get proper ISO certified pipettes even if that isn't strictly required for your use case. Great pricing and good customer service does not entirely make up for the fact that the product quality is questionable.

Missing tip Ejector Not Accurate
This is awful .i retrieve 1 ml and 3 ml water and was exactly the same quantity (mid photo) .is missing the Tip Ejector where i can attach a small pipette .The instrument i received is coming with large plastic pipe and cannot be use because of the inaccuracy. very unhappy for this purchase

Five Stars
Works great but don't order the Uxcell lab pipette tips that Amazon auto pairs with it they don't fit.

Inaccurate, not sterile, not good for labs
I love the idea of a micro-pipette that does milliliter measurements. Only goes up to ten, but that is a lot better. However, the unit is not accurate at all, 5mL gives you 7.5mL. Kind of hard to get accurate results when the pipettor doesn't give accurate results. Also, when you draw the liquid into the pipette, it gets into the micropipette holder, meaning you now contaminate any future experiments with it. The micropipettes that measure micro leave room at the base to keep liquids from entering the chamber, I'm not sure why the same can't apply to this. Now I am wondering if my actual micropipetter is accurate. As an after school science program director for school age kids, having this to get quick and accurate samples pre-setup would be a great time saver, if it was accurate. The sterility is easier, because we can just to 5 to 8mL samples and do multiples to get to the value needed, but it has to be accurate. Again, real shame.**UPDATED**The company sent me two new milliliter pipettes to test. One had to be adjusted upon receiving it, and the other was accurate on delivery. Both are now accurate, and even better, both pipette 10mL without bringing liquid into the chamber. I would still recommend pipetting slowly, but now I can pipette milliliters for the kids' experiments with accuracy, and when you are doing 50-80 times, it will save me a lot of time. The company was very good about reaching out to me, perhaps a little too much, but I always said I would rather have too much help rather than too little or none. Their customer service is definitely on point. I would recommend this product if you need a good pipettor for mL amounts.

Work well with the Four E's Scientific 100-1000 uL tips
I tested many tips to be sure, but used with the Four E's Scientific micro-pipette 100-1000 uL they yielded reliable volumes (I used a high precision scale and water since its volumetric weight is 1 g/mL = 1 g/1000 uL).

Can not be calibrated for all volume ranges
Thought I could use this to replace the expensive 300+ CAD pipettes. I calibrated for 20 ul found out that for any other volume, it is off by atleast 10-20 %-this might not be an issue for you. But dont expect this to replace the expensive lab ones.
