Great deshedding brush!
Love using this brush on my golden Retriever. Takes off excess fur to help prevent so much hair from shedding in our house. Works on both large and small dogs. Easy to use by getting the hair to come off with a click of a button

Good standard brush if you're not sure what to get
For the price, I was happy with this purchase. It's easy to clean and works well. My cat doesn't mind it so far (with accompanying training methods). My only complaint is the bristles are too stiff (causing me to need to be more careful than I typically need to with pet brushes), and it seems to change the texture of my cat's fur (albeit only for a day or two). My cat has dense, smooth, short hair. Brushing with this brush causes it to be a little frizzy (but not by a lot) but also to have a bit of a rough texture. I'm almost tempted to try some kind of cat conditioner on her after I use it lol Perhaps a different material for the bristles would work better? Idk, but it's something I'll keep in mind the next time I need to get a new brush, though -- if I'm trying to find something quick because I don't feel like digging through reviews and types of brushes, I'll definitely get this one again. That said, it removes the hair pretty effectively (not perfect, but it's shedding season, so there's more than usual to deal with)

My two cats' review of this brush
I can't translate for them, obviously, and their review doesn't come in 'meow' mode as much as it does for me to tell you I may have to buy a second one. The younger one (the daughter) loves this so much, from the moment I wake up in the morning until she goes to sleep, she's following me with a clear message to let me know "Please? More brushing!!!" Her mother, the older one of course, seems to be jealous and lets the younger one know it's her brush too. I know that sounds funny, but I promise it's true. The younger one is nearing her 4th birthday, and she had finally moved into heat some months before I got the brush. The brush actually helps her coat to shine and feel silkier, but it also calms her so she can relax and be quite content. Since the first day I started using it on her, she has purred her way from the first stroke to the last. The younger one, born feral, and her mom moved in 4 years ago after the mother had been abandoned by her previous owner. Spunky, demanding, she let me know quite clearly how she expected things done around here. Since she 'met' the brush, she's been in absolute bliss! On my side, the brush is truly easy to clean, to handle and to use, and it's manufactured in a way to let me know I don't have to worry about brushing too hard. And the younger one is *so* into the brush, when she wants to concentrate on the head, she shows me by 'smushing' her head, the back of her head and both sides of her face onto the gentle bristles. From the first stroke to the last, her constant purr is pure joy to hear and reassures me that she really does enjoy it! Btw, from *my* perspective, I'm especially impressed with the size of the brush head. It's rectangular and at least twice as large as the old brush was, covering more room without being too large for the younger one. The size is perfect even for her little body, allowing me to brush one side completely with each stroke. In short, compared to several others I've tried, this one has them all beat!

Works wonders on my Husky/Lab mix!
This brush works great on my dog, who is a Husky/Lab mix. It handles his thick coat perfectly and really helps get the loose hair out. It’s easy to use and effective for managing shedding. I'm really happy with how well it works on his specific fur type.

Not bad but too big for a cat
My cat is some kind of mix of long haired and short haired cat. He is a feral rescue who had to lose an eye as a kitten. His mom has the same kind of coat but I have no idea what type of breed produces the unusual texture. His coat is super soft, silky and shiny (the pic doesn't do it justice) and not all dry and puffed out looking like most longer haired cats and the hair is slightly wavy on the stomach and back legs. I needed a better brush than the one I had. It was a little slicker brush but the bristles were not fine enough to reach the undercoat. I read the reviews on this brush where someone commented that they were afraid this would be too big for their cat but it turned out to be just right. Wish I could say the same. I can brush his back and a little of his tummy but it's too big and awkward for shoulders, head, chest and legs. Also, I've only had it a week and the button is separating from the brush. Mind you, my cat is not shedding a lot so I've only pressed the button once or twice just to see how it works. Seems like the quality is poor. If you look ar my pics, you can see that there is a gap forming on one side but not the other. I will use it as long as I can for his back because he loves how the bristles feel (which is the only reason I give it 3 stars). He purrs like crazy. But I will have to use a smaller brush for the shoulders, chest, head and legs.

My house another story
So my dogs one has thin hair other thick . Most hair came from my thick furry baby. I used it a few times a day yesterday and let's just say most shedding hair that goes flying about has lessen I assume this because when I pet my dog his hair be all over my little hands and it's so few that it's like maybe 5 of less hair on my hands today is the second day I brush them and wow 😲 talk about very little hair and I was also able to learn more about my furry babies coats then I was before theyre skin and hair is lacking nutrients it was so dry no wonder they shed so much. No hydration although it reduce shedding it doesn't take it all away but it's also easy to clean just a push of a button and gone in the trash 🗑️ the grip is really good and compatible and the performance was better than I expected it does exactly as it says in the ad I don't need to buy another one because I assume it will last me some years to come however I do recommend getting it. It grabbed so much fur I could make me a fur coat 🧥😻 perhaps I try that next time ☺️
