Missing Pieces
My shipment was missing the base plate and the insertion tool. It’s kinda hard to use it without those pieces. I would give it five stars if they had included everything, as it all appears to be very sturdy.Update: I was hoping that either this review or the email I sent to their support team would convince this company to do the right thing and send me the missing base plate and the insertion tool. Apparently I was wrong. So now I’m downgrading this down to one star. How hard is it to include all of the parts or at least sent them when they are left out of the original shipment? This set was not cheap! How about giving me what I paid for?

Excellent Designed Product! Easy to install and even holds tight in sandy soil.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This product was so easy to install, it took us less than 1 minute to complete and our puppy was up and running. It has a sturdy construction that holds up in all weather conditions. My dogs love the mobility it gives them and they never get tangled up. Previously have used the single corkscrew stakes and they never hold up. This product is the best we have ever come across.

Strong enough for big and strong dogs
Works great for our Very strong energetic lab husky mix. He weighs in at 105 lbs and has pulled many stakes out of the ground. However he can't get this one up. Very sturdy product. Thank you and my hats off to the designers of this.

Great anchor! Holds great in sandy soils
the soil in my yard if very sandy/rocky (Thank you Florida), so typical single screw anchors would be pulled out by my 54lb German Shepard. installed this one, and since installation, I haven't even had to retighten it after her being on it all day. Very happy wit hit, and suggesting it to others. Also, happy it's American made.

Perfect for Big Doggos
Took all of like 2 minutes to put into the ground. I tested it before putting the dog on it and couldn't get it to budge in normal yard soil and grass. My 70lb germshep uses it in our front yard occasionally to play with the kids without zooming away. All-in-all, 100% perfect tie-down for big dogs. Super heavy duty construction from what I can tell, plus with the tool provided, I could easily just unscrew it out of the ground and put it somewhere else in a couple minutes if I wanted. To top things off, this is made by a family-owned business who sent a hand written thank you card with it (which in like 10 years of using Amazon I don't think I've ever seen).

Easy to install. Works well..
When I purchased this item, the ground was still frozen so I didn't install it right away. Then of course, things get forgotten about when stored away.. I finally installed this product over the weekend. I will update this review if there are any changes.Installation was easy. Less than 5 minutes and it was installed. I like having the carabiner clip as I can simply remove the lead when I'm mowing and then just clip it back on.. My old tie out rusted causing the lead to be stuck on and I had to remove the entire tie out (what a pain that was).. I'm hoping I wont have any rust related issues with the carabiner clip (Fingers crossed).. The swivel moves with ease. My dog definitely tested out his boundary chasing wild rabbits and it swiveled with him without getting stuck.I feel a bit more at ease about my dog being outside. He's not a big dog. Just a 30 lb shiba inu. Yet, he has loosened his past tie outs pulling them right out of the ground. I've had neighbors carry him home (what they jokingly called the doggy walk of shame).. Mind you, my dog doesn't go outside for long periods of time. He just does his business and returns back in. BUT on those nicer days, he wants to stay outside for an extra 20-30min. Now I wont be constantly checking the windows wondering if he escaped again.

Get This one!
We have Two 7 month old Lab mix puppies. Sisters, in fact. We don't have a fenced in yard and I don't like the whole idea of electric wire fencing, either. Our dogs get plenty of people time so I just wanted an option to tie them out in the yard from time to time so they can chill, or play, or apparently dig holes. I had the old classic single screw in style tie out that resembles an upside down triangle on top but with two dogs it kept getting badly tangled, mostly because the cables would slide into the triangle shape because there's an opening. Hard to describe. If you've used one you know what I'm talking about. I spent some time looking at different designs but I didn't like what I was seeing. Not well designed or extremely expensive or both. This design is awesome and the price is great. We have soft clay soil here that is super hard when dry but in the rainy spring it is super soft. I need big beefy screws to stay anchored. This design, having 3, is even better! And the low profile swivel top is perfect for two dogs. So far it has been awesome. I highly recommend this tie out.

First thing that has worked
Multiple different stake anchors, cables, clasps, collars, and harnesses later. This gift of a thing presented itself and has solved all my problems. My 85lb big fat handsome man can attempt to chase every smaller creature in the surrounding area that his sweet heart desires..... because this delightful mechanism won't let him pull it out of the ground in any way, shape, or form.To know my sweet baby boy is safe and secure is such a relief.Thank you.
