I volunteer coach youth sports from t-ball to pre-high school ages. This book was very simple to use and really helped show my kids where they should be moving. My son loves taking it on road trips and plane rides to study for each upcoming seasons. Definitely recommend especially starting around age 10, prior to that the kids just have fun being on the field lol.

if it was a little bigger i'd give it a five. it's kinda small.

During a baseball game, the situations change at a head-spinning rate so it's absolutely necessary for players and coaches to be familiar with basic positional play relative to any situation.This book is the perfect tool that helps teach those basics in a visual format that's easy to understand and should allow the reader to quickly follow along.As a longtime coach, I recommend this book for anyone at any level.

It was much smaller than when I looked at the pictures. Though the description is accurate.Overall it was a pretty decent reference for those newer to look at, but I would say if you are over the age of 13 and/or have been getting coached for 3+ years, you should know most of the info already. But obviously not every kids remembers everything, especially if they play different positions.It is missing any infield plays and what should the outfielder do in that situation.

The book is the size of a child’s hand. You need a magnifying glass to see the writing. Just not what I was expecting !!!

Found a mistake (typo) on page 4 between text and diagram. I didn’t review the rest of the small book for anymore mistakes. Not worth the cost; book is too small.

This is pocket size and not ideal for actual reading
