This is accurate and quick bought this to set water temp for doing my water changes so not to shock my fish during maintenance works great

If U use only this 1 thermometer U may well be disappointed? Since I have 3 others types this one seems 2 deg off exact, so just subtracting 2 deg at all times works for me. One of my heaters is C scale only, so this unit is in that tank for switching to F scale (on the fly) conversions. Handy for those of us more familiar to the F scale vs C. It registers temp changes (maybe not the fastest),but no problem, & its easy for me to read at all times. Don't just count on just subtracting 2 deg, because accuracy could change from 1 of these to the next. Its good for those of use with multiple thermometers to compare with. I can treat it like a body weight scale that is always 2 lbs too high vs the doctor's, just deduct 2 & U know where temp is at.

Very nice little thermometer. It works well and I can move it around to measure temperature in different tanks easily. Battery life seems good, although I don't normally leave it on.

I use this outside to keep an eye on pond temps. It has withstood the seasons, wet and cold. Sometimes it fogs up from condensation- but still works. It's not rated for outdoors so I know I'm pushing the limits

Do not expect this product to last more than a year. However for the price its worth it over the mechanical thermometers because those fail as well. Its worth buying as long as you are willing to replace often. This is the 2nd or 3rd one I've had.

Using it for my betta's tank I had another thermometer for my room and this one read the same temp (off only by a couple decimals in Fahrenheit about .3 difference between the two at most usually on a .2 tho) as my current room thermometer so the accuracy is good. The numbers are easy to read and you can set it to either Celsius or Fahrenheit. Came with an extra battery as well which was a nice surprise. The suction cups seem to work well so far but it has only been a couple hours maybe 8 at most since I stuck them in place and they haven't moved.

Thermometer came with a button type battery installed and an extra one for later. Easy to stick to aquarium inside and the outside unit.

This thing was a waste of money. Doesn’t work right out of the package it was in. The display is messed up and doesn’t show any numbers. A 2 dollar stick on temp gauge works better.
