Dorothy's Ruby Red Slipper Shoes for Kids

These shoes were the perfect addition to my daughter's Halloween Dorothy costume! I had read in the reviews that they run small, and my daughter wears a 9 or 10 depending on the brand so I went with an 11 and they fit great. Not too small, but big enough for her to have some room to grow. I had also read about glitter flaking off, so before she wore them, I sprayed a few coats of a clear gloss spray on them and that has seemed to do the trick. The glitter hasn't flaked off at all and she has worn them multiple times. The ends of the strap were slightly frayed when they arrived (which was another complaint I also read about), so I gently ran a match along the ends and that stopped the fraying and you can't even tell that they were fraying in the first place. I looked all over trying to find the perfect Dorothy shoes for my daughter and I am so happy with these! They are so cute and I love that they have a strap. They are better than anything else I saw online or in stores!

Purchased these as a surprise Christmas present for my niece. Turns out her mom purchased the exact same pair! Fit true to size. Glitter glitz and sparkle makes for a happy little girl!

These shoes were great. I bought them about two years ago for my granddaughter and she’s still wearing them. Some glitter has fall off, but they’re not in bad condition. Definitely would recommend.

They're adorable and perfect for my daughter. She wears them all the time. The little heel isn't too much, the glitter sheds some but not too much, and a size 9 leaves just enough growing room so we can hopefully wear them for at least a year.

Size was a little small. Great style. Color was on point.

My 3 year old toddler loves these shoes and won’t take them off! The heel is the perfect height, and so far, they’re holding up nicely. We had to return to get a size down, but we have a long and narrow foot. Would highly recommend!

I got these shoes for my granddaughter as she is going to be Dorothy for Halloween. I ordered them in a size larger than she wears so they will last for a little longer...and that's just what they are, just a size too large. She loves them and wants to wear them all of the time but we have to put them up to save for Halloween after a brief time of wearing them each day! I have read other reviews that says the glitter will eventually fall off. I am prepared to replace the red glitter if that should happen. These shoes are so cute and perfect for a 3 year old Dorothy!

We went to Washington DC to see the real ruby slippers and he demanded that they take them out of the display so he could wear them. But they were selling the shoes near by but at 50$. So I promised he could have some just like them and this is what we bought. He rarely takes them off they are nonslip and durable. Good buy!!

I bought these for my daughter who was turning 6. She loves them and has worn them every day for a bit since she opened them. I don't see any signs of redness on her feet from them. She has narrow feet but they are not too loose on her. I am seeing glitter all round the house and some has worn off in places where it rubs as she walks, like the edges of the bow. I will touch that up with a red permanent pen. These really are magical shoes, I am very happy with them.
