Philips SHB6250/27 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones, Black

I needed to replace my last pair of headphones and was on a budget crunch. I was skeptical because of the smaller size and the low price, but I've owned several larger pairs of Philips headphones in the past, so based on my past history with the brand, I took a chance and was so glad I did. Don't be fooled by the price or the small size; this is a GREAT pair of bluetooth headphones! Very easy to pair (especially with NFC) and they sound great. They are not advertised as noise canceling, but do a good job of that as well; I listen to music on my train ride to work and with these, its almost as if I'm on the train all by myself. I'm not sure why they're being offered for less than $30, but they are WELL worth it. What are you waiting for, pull the lever and get them today!

I ordered two pairs. one was great, the sound is very nice, it was very comfortable ( light and doesn't put too much pressure on the head), connection was great and battery last nicely.I only gave it 3 stars because the other pair (which was clearly been used before I got it) had an annoying clikering sound on the right side. you cant ignore it, its there even when the music is on.so overall a good product that worth the money, probably some are defected and in this case you will probably want to return it.

After a few sets of Bluetooth headphones and earphones which surprised me with their sound quality, I was beginning to think that Bluetooth had finally turned the corner to being a viable audio solution. My pair of Philips SHB6250s quickly brought my expectations back into check.As soon as I first turned the headphones on, I was greeted with a very noticeable static buzz which, while it is drowned out by other (loud) audio, never completely goes away.To make matters worse, on my subway commute, I’ve encountered several spots where these headphones completely lose their connection to my phone. I did have similar issues with some older Bluetooth sets, but the 6250s take it to the next level. The sound disconnects completely for extended periods every time I pass through these problem spots, whereas with previous sets audio was just momentarily interrupted.Overall, I really like the form factor of these headphones, as I was looking for something similar to old Walkman headphones but with modern functionality, but the sound quality is just too far below what I find acceptable.Considering their very affordable price, if the Philips SHB6250s offered a 1/4” input as an alternative audio solution, I may be more willing to overlook the existing audio quality issues. Regretfully they do not, which makes these headphones all but useless to anyone who even moderately cares about sound quality.

Really like the design and small size. Not something that looks big and bulky over your head making you look like a dork. The build quality is good. It looks like it should last a long time if you take good care of it. The sound quality is good. The only thing that I do not like is the layout of the buttons. They should have kept it simple like the Philips SHB5500 model.

Ordered a pair. One side the sound was great, the other side had a weird buzzing noise. Put in for a replacement though the seller. The replacement pair is exactly the same. Will be returning those for a refund... really disappointed because I had an older pair of Phillips that were amazing.

Exactly what I was looking for. Nice rich full sound, perfect size for the gym and doing yard work. nice fit. right size. charge lasts a good 7hrs+ & uses same charger as my cell phone. Well worth the price. Very pleased with these headphones. Can also take phone calls easy with my android phone.

Awesome headphone for light duty work. These pair easy with my iPhone and sound great. The only issue i have is they slide off if you bend over.. It could be my smaller head though. If i know i'll be bending over forward, i can put more toward the back of my head and they stay on. I use them to workout sometimes, or at work while jamming away at the computer.

First and foremost, this is a low cost bluetooth headphone and you should adjust your expectation accordingly.It has a low level hiss on the right side. The hiss is usually not audible during the day. But when the environment is quiet, it is pretty annoying.Other than this huge caveat, the headphone has decent build and sound quality. Buttons are easy to reach. Bluetooth pairing is easy. It only remembers the last paired device. But what do you expect from headphones of this price anyway? Personally I'd prefer the earpieces to swivel the other way around, though.
