Pros:*Shelf seems sturdy if installed properly.*Wood shelves are good and had no warping.Cons:*Pipe connections (threading) are faulty. Not all align properly with the pipes fully tightened, so we had to leave some pieces loose in order to get everything aligned straight.* Pipe coloring rubs off some and will leave black on your hands.*Only two of the 4 shelves are supported by a plate drilled into the wall. I would have preferred all of them to have the circular plates that drilled into the wall for ultimate support.Notes:*Just as an FYI on my picture - The color of the wood didn’t match what I wanted, so I stained/painted my shelves darker. Also, there are metal pieces that do attach the shelves to the pipes so the wood won’t move. I didn’t use them as there is no way for my shelves to come out of the tight space it is in.* This shelf is HEAVY. I 100% recommend attaching to studs. I would not trust this size on dry wall anchors.*If fitting into a tight space like I did, you will not be able to slide the wood in afterward and will need to hold the entire shelf in place while drilling into the wall. So best to have 2 people.

Lacking cupboard space in my kitchen. This is a great addition. I love the rustic look.

The shelf is attractive, I like the look of it. Very industrial and heavy appearance. It does look great and will work for what I need. Due to the size of the unit, I needed to install it over my washer/dryer, works fine but the detergent bottles won't fit well on the shelves. So may not really be a good choice for the laundry room. I will work around it and put the detergent somewhere else. Also the protrusion from the wall is about 12 inches, it seems like it is 9 inches in the product description.Recommend the product.

Sturdy and attractive

We love these. Bought them for my husband’s office and they are great! We did have to mount them on 2X4s that we painted black and then mounted to the studs on the wall, that was the only extra step we had to take to secure them to the wall.The instructions aren’t very explanatory but it doesn’t need a WHOLE lot of explaining. We did make sure the bars were all screwed together before we mounted the bars. We found that was the easiest way to secure them well on the metal pieces before trying to mount it.They are good and wide and will hold books, large items and heavy items, as long as they are secured in the studs or mounted on some sort of solid wood backing.They are perfect for an industrial farmhouse look and the fact that they have 3 brackets holding them (the pipes) it’s very sturdy!We LOVE these and would purchase them again and would recommend if this is the style that you’re aiming for!Good product- great price! Def worth it.

Very difficult to put together but once it’s up it’s very nice!

Not easy to install, very poor instructions and lack of proper labeling, and no markings where under the shelve to drill. Get ready to bring our the ruler and the mathematician in you to install this properly.

Recommended, if you like industrial decor and you are OK with relying on your own knowledge and hardware to mount heavy objects on a wall ... or ask your neighbourhood hardware dealer, I guess.This was a gift for my teen son. The shelves are just the right size for his books & knickknacks. I thought they looked slightly goofy out of the box, but once on the wall and filled up, they looked quite nice and fit well with his dark Ikea-style furniture.The instructions were almost useless. They only showed how to connect the pieces, which was obvious anyway. There was no information about mounting the shelves on a wall.My spouse decided to use larger screws and anchors than the ones provided, since we were installing on a thin, old lath-and-plaster wall, with inconveniently spaced studs. But I really can't imagine using the screws/anchors provided, on ANY wall. They seem awfully narrow and short for the weight they're holding.Overall: nice looking, functional, but could have better instructions and hardware.

Amazing product, incredibly sturdy. I installed it to studs and I can hang my body weight on it! (Im only 115 lb). Materials are high quality, nice wood and metal parts. Very easy to put together. Might need two people to install (I was able to do it by myself) I love this product and would definitely buy another one!

Super sturdy, super easy to install, and great look. The boards are real wood and the bars real metal, making the shelf very sturdy and heavy. I absolutely love it.
