Frustrating, in my case
I needed to recover some desk space when I added a second monitor. My daughter has a larger (more arms, taller) version of this mount and it was the perfect solution for her. I went a bit cheaper with this mount for my desk and immediately regretted that decision. I am using 2 different monitors (one gaming, one document) and they mount at different heights; this mount has 1 arm that extends out both sides that are not independently adjustable. Thankfully, I had some additional parts from my daughter's mount that allowed me to install the monitors at different heights. If you have 2 identical monitors and do not mind them being fixed together, this is probably perfect for you. Takes a bit of fiddling to install, but once assembled it stays in place with no problem.Overall, I'm content with my setup, but needed additional parts to get there.

For the price, it's not bad at all.
First things first, I purchased this for a couple of 24" monitors that I have at work. Installation/assembly is pretty straight forward and if you are mechanically inclined (even just a little) it should be pretty much common sense on how it goes together. Build quality isn't too bad. You can definitely tell that it isn't made by NASA, but for $32 (at the time of writing this) the quality should last you a while. If you are looking to frequently move your monitors, this may not be the mount for you. This mount is basically made for monitors that will be put into position and left there for longer periods of time. They can be moved around but it requires torquing down hex head bolts to lock them in position (i.e. Set it and Forget it). If you want to move your monitors on a frequent basis, look at those rigs with the gas/spring assisted arms. For those of you out there with cubicle walls, you can choose to assemble/mount it as shown in the instruction booklet but this will require you to detach either the desk or the wall (depending on how your setup is built). For those of you out there that do not feel like doing that (like me), you can mount the bottom bracket (with the desk tightening handle) on the opposite side of what's shown in the book; this means that the screws will be on the inside (towards the edge of the desk) but it doesn't hamper anything and you don't have to take your desk apart. At most, it adds 2 more minutes of installation. The reason why it is 4 stars is because of the capped "acorn" nut and the adjustable stud that is used to secure the monitors to the arms. The one side fit perfect and the other side decided to spin and be a bit of a pain. Nothing that a pair of needle nose channel locks won't solve, but you technically shouldn't have to do that.If anything changes, I'll post an update but for now, I'm already planning on buying another one to house my other two monitors.
